Well, it's the end. No more Marvel Avengers Alliance in about a month, and people are upset. Rightly so, and I'm sure people had issues with the game and how it was run. Well, I want to take a stab at what I felt were issues in the game and how those problems could've been fixed. Not good with intros so let's jump into this thing!
First Issue: Trouble attracting and keeping newer players
This issue I feel is partially because of the level cap implemented in pvp in the middle of 2014, bt if this decision couldn't have been reversed, there were other ways to attract newer guys, and the way was to use leveling to dole out more prizes. Now that I've talking about stats, I feel it's best to touch on the people/beings who will be your allies in pvp-your heroes. After stats, your heroes determine how well you do in pvp. Heroes all have their own respective classes and alternate costumes/classes that further help your win condition, and some of these can greatly or minimally help depending on the costume. I'm not going to get into the super basics of explaining moves and passives of heroes, but rather how you use these to your advantage as well as effects and properties that help you in battle. Pvp stats, the first and foremost thing you need to consistently win in pvp. You can go without them and get decent ranking, but you'd need to attack (and lose) more often than those who have the stats. They are what makes you heroes hit hard and take more hits the more you have. These stats are broken down into their respective categories:
- HP: Hit points, or health. This determines how many hits you can take after factoring in the opponent's attack and defense. The higher your health, the more hits you can take.
- Attack: Your attack strength. This stat determines how hard your hits are compared to your enemies defense. For instance, if your attack is double your opponent's defense, then your hits will devestate that opponent, even i…
For a lot of people, pvp can be frustrating. They lose both on offense or defense, either that or they win but only barely or by plodding through it. What I'm here to say is that for a lot of you that doesn't have to be the case, for there are ways to make it much easier to play it, leaving for little to no stress. There are certain rules, or guidelines to playing and maneuvering through offensive and defensive battles that are undeniable and haven't really changed since the inception of this competitive aspect of the game, certain pillars you have to excel in or at least improve to make it simpler. Getting tired of seeing a lot of complaints and general ignorant comments in regards to this game, so what I've decided to do is make a list of do's and don'ts responding to all the ignorance I see people say in/about this game. Let us begin!
I. "I get 1+ on a win and -20 on a loss, It's so unfair!"- This has been going on for 9 seasons now, if this is happening to you it's your fault. Get into vibranium in the first few days and maybe this wouldn't happen to you. If you can't stay in vibranium, then your afk is bad (that sucks and your complaint is legit) or you don't have vibranium stats/strategy, so you were never meant to have it in the first place.
