Well, once again PD manages to introduce a crapload of content to the game right before the end of a PvP season. Stuff breaks, new weapons, enhancers, and hero uniforms appear, and you know darned good and well they won't do anything about it until after the tournament is done. I really feel sorry for those players who are having to deal with things like the Cube not extending properly or other "fixes" that have screwed their strategies. Such is life with the game, I guess - we should expect nothing less from PD by now other than we, the players, are the ones that will have to adapt and move on. As for PD, they don't alw…

PvP 11 Post-Mortem

Vibranium finish for me, but not without getting shafted. I started out the day with a score around 1800. I fought battles off and on all day long as time allowed and saw my score creep down into the 1700 range, which I didn't see a huge problem with.

And then the final two hours started. I didn't start keeping track of it until the last hour, but the basic upshot is that my number of defensive battles so massively outstripped my offensive battles that it wasn't even funny. For every battle I fought, I got stuck up against 3 to 4 other opponents. Playdom is getting a nastygram about this once I get the actual numbers worked into a spreadsheet, because it was a statistical impossibility for me to keep up with the points I was losing.

Thoughts on Character-Specific Empowered ISO-8

Boy, did PD ever drop a new bomb on the game with these babies. Allowing the heroes to go up to level 13 is a big game changer, but giving them new passives based on what you can earn in missions can definitely tip the tide of battle in a different direction.

Well, for some of the characters, at least.

Some of the new E-Iso are fantastic, and others just suck rocks. My criteria for breaking these things into the following tiers consisted of the following: 1. Is it useful on its own on the hero? 2. Is it useful in PvP for the hero? and 3. How much time and energy will it cost me to farm that sucker? PvP 11 - Hold Me Closer, Spiral Dancer

2013-10-08 - The Rogue/Ares frenzy seems to have tapered off a bit, leaving me some breathing room to play around with the attacking team. I think I've found something that works on offense, against both them and other teams. I'm still not sure what to do about defense, though the hammering I took the other day may have just been my turn in the barrel (for those of you who know that old joke... )

I know there has been a lot of complaining about Rogue, myself included, so here are some points to consider regarding her:
