In this inaugural installment of a series I'd like to call "Hero Hump-Day", I'm going to present to you a possibility for a character that I'd like to see added to the game. I figure everyone else does these, so why not jump on the bandwagon? Besides, I figure if the character has already been done by someone else, then I'm sure I'll get plenty of posts of "WE'VE SEEN THIS ALREADY". I'm going to try to do one every Wednesday, and failing that I'll at least try to get them posted on Wednesdays. So without further ado, I bring you a member of the Midnight Sons, MORBIUS, THE LIVING VAMPIRE!


Morbius, the Living Vampire

Play Concepts:

His passives are based on his comic book abilities, with a couple tweaks.

Vampiric Regeneration is similar to the buff given by Kuzuri, but would heal Stamina as well. This emulates his need to feed at regular intervals and also accounts for his his healing factor (which I omitted as it would make the character a bit broken.)

His Bloodthirsty ability is the same as what is seen on the Jotun Chieftan enemies, giving him a little bit of a Scrapper-like quality, but only if that enemy is Bleeding. Yes, this means he could potentially get double the healing off of a bleeding opponent.

Although he is an Infiltrator, Morbius has no Stealthy attacks other than his Hypnotic Gaze. If the player wants they can burn his Hypnotic Gaze on opposing Tac to get the stealth ball rolling, but this means it'd be round 2 before they can start dealing major damage.

Any counter-attacks from his Inf bonus would be with his L1 attack. 

Divebomb is a flying attack that is designed to emulate him smashing an opponent from above and knocking them to the ground. This would, by definition, eliminate any protector's ability to guard their teammates. This also sets up synergy with allied heroes that can exploit these debuffs.

Hypnotic Gaze is the wildcard of his move set. It deals no damage up front but can really mess with the opposing team. Plus, I figure there aren't enough heroes out there that have mind control capability.
