Well, hot on the heels of PvP Season 9 comes the awaited release of Daimon Hellstrom and his half-sister Satana. But first things first
I was very surprised to find some shiny gifts on my return to the PvP page when I awoke. Now I am not one to look a gift horse (or Apocalyptic warrior) in the mouth, so I will gladly make use of mr. Worthington and his quadruple team-up bonus to finish 6.6 just that little bit quicker. There were errors in the scoring system, (there must be if it wass showing someone with 0 fights in the top 10, right?) but I am not going to dirty any more words on the subject.
Daimon Hellstrom, long awaited hero and probably the first of the self debuffind duo to enter my ranks. Day 4 has rolled around and the two day resea…

Starting a game is always hard. And keeping at it might seem like a chore at times. But there will be people who have done this almost Herculean task, who might aid you in your quest. Let's start at the beginning.
The first time you start the game, you will go through the tutorial, which will get you your first three heroes to play with: Iron Man , Black Widow and Hawkeye. Now they all might seem a bit underwhelming, but trust me on this, Natasha and Clint will be your favourite team to play with, simply because of their quintuple Team-Up Bonus. Long story short, these two will net you a couple 1,000 points extra per run of a mission. Which means less runs to get to more stars. Which means you get to open new chapters that…

Bear in mind that this is all speculation, just my random rambling on what I would like to see in season 2 of the story.
Well, the release of Season 2 got put back a bit, but they did show some nice pictures of new icons, Selene and Sugar Man (please let him not give me any). I am also very much intrigued by the shot of a giant moon-like thing trying to crush Black Panther. But what it will all entail for the next couple of chapters, I could not say.
I want to fight supervillains in Wakanda, the Savage Land, Genosha, Latveria, the N-Zone, on Muir Island (I'd like to see why all my heroes keep doing their remote ops over there) or wherever they may roam. Sugar Man and Angel's alt might provide a way to get into Apocalypse country, or at least…Read more >
People always say to dream the impossible, but most of the time it's a lot easier to stick to the more or less probable. Doubly so if you don't plan on spending too many hours a day on a game. (even if you do enjoy it thoroughly enough to be blogging about or, heavens forbid, spend some of your hard earned beer money on) Of course it helps to jot down your goals, as to prevent yourself from e.g. losing the mental tally on how many runs of 12.2 you still need to get that amount of CP you need for the next hero you want. And exactly for that reason I present my goals for the foreseeable future.
No denying it, if you want to keep up with enemies with improved stats in Challenge Mode, you'll have to invest in the best equipment you can get. And…

Okay, so Spec Ops 9 came out a bit quicker than I expected (say, a couple of days) and messed with my research planning a bit. The first two days were spent researching that elusive fifth PvP page - which should have me fighting a bit better now - and as such, did not allow me to start on the Task 6 before this afternoon. Fortunately, every cloud has its silver lining, as this provided me with another two days ofr farming CP on everybody's new favourite: 12.2 (40 runs in and I'm up 150 CP). With what I had left over from the previous weeks (and having to buy War Machine and Union Jack) this leaves me about 25 CP shy of Punisher to complete the deploy trifecta.
With a good 30 days left on the counter, I'm not too worried about missing out o…Read more >
