I have decided to start an ISO Blog of my own, for the new heroes not included in PKB's page right here.

I also used his theories and ideals, and am only planning to make this guide as supplement for what the master has already left us.

His ISO Solver Spreadsheet guide.

His underlying theory of ISO's right here.

For disclaimers, just read the posts above to know the target goals for stats and how I copied PKB in doing it, but to sum, the goal for a hero at L300 is 9k in health, 2k in attack, 1.8k in accuracy, and 2k in either defense/evasion.

I also added some suggestions for Empowered ISO's based on my experience with the characters, and you can find the list here.

Black Bolt

Despite being king of the Inhumans, Black Bolt has really poor base health, however with great attack and accuracy. This setup builds BB into the shape that PKB likes:

  • 5x Reactive Skillful (White)
  • 2x Reactive Mercurial (Orange)
  • 1x Reactive Steady (Purple)
    • +2574 Health / +680 Attack / +255 Accuracy / +595 Evasion

6TlKdgU.jpg

Black Bolt built like this is a jack-of-all-trades hero, boasting high support skills with his Ambient Particles, disabling enemies with his L6 Incapacitation and Buff Blocker, and a OHKO attack with a charged L9.

With his high evasion from this build, BB is tanky enough coupled with his passive to let out at least one L9 during the fight. I almost never use his L1 though, and rely on L2 - L3 L4 combo when I can. What Black Bolt lacks however is a good support to let him keep his stacks alive and his debuffs stick on the enemy. Overall, I don't find using him in PVP compared to the usuals, but he can be a good offset in offense once in a while.

With the release of the Empowered ISO's, I would also recommend some of my own that I use (though I still do not have him at level 13). I don't find that he has anything to benefit from the class restricted ones (except for Increasing if you find a lot of Blasters).

  • Relentless Empowered Iso-8
  • Surprising Empowered Iso-8
  • Distant Empowered Iso-8

Nothing noteworthy here except for the usual benefits of the EISOs.

Thane

First revealed hero in-game, very strong offense against the current meta, aside from his being a Blaster class:

  • 3x Reactive Stalwart (White)
  • 3x Reactive Forceful (Orange)
  • 1x Reactive Exact (Orange)
  • 1x Reactive Sturdy (Green)
    • +1859 Health / +510 Attack / +738 Defense / +369 Accuracy

DRApsKl.jpg

Having a balanced Defense and Evasion stat, you can have your pick, but I chose Defense over because his shield scales well with a good defense, and he has that passive already to keep him tanky in a fight. While Blasters are generally not welcome in PVP, his array of debuffs are quite annoying and useful.

His L6 and L2 are great utility spells for removing your own debuffs, or removing the buffs of your opponent with the bonus of Despair as well. His L9 is especially powerful when his health is low, so I usually pair him up with lifesavers such as Uncanny Cyclops or Valkyrie. Thane, however, needs lots of turns to spread his shield and stack Amber, so heroes who can give extra turns or gears that do are especially useful with him. All in all a great and strong blaster.

  • Explosive Empowered Iso-8

Haven't play tested this yet (I still refuse to buy because of variable pricing), but some say that Collateral Damage also spreads debuffs from single-target attacks, and it's especially interesting to see Amber applied to the whole enemy team :O

Moon Knight

Cool passive, lots of hits one he stacks retribution, though really unpredictable. Stat-wise, very nice stats overall and can be built many ways because of his flexibility:

  • 4x Reactive Mercurial (Orange)
  • 2x Reactive Powerful (Purple)
  • 2x Reactive Skillful (White)
    • +2002 Health / +738 Attack / +340 Accuracy / +510 Evasion

This is the more balanced build, with a focus on accuracy and health, having his accuracy go well beyond the 1.8k goal, to make sure that he does not miss his attacks (as some people have commented), but he can do fine as well with high starting accuracy.

  • 3x Reactive Skillful (White)
  • 2x Reactive Violent (Red)
  • 2x Reactive Proficient (Orange)
  • 1x Reactive Powerful (Purple)
    • +1859 Health / +825 Attack / +228 Accuracy / +483 Evasion

XMSFEjS.jpg

Got to play around with the solver, this build still fulfills the PKB standards, with a heavier focus on attack, all crystals having something to give to his mediocre base attack. This is the more offensive build for Moon Knight, though his fighting potential is just as unpredictable as his class-changing passive. Will probably go for this build since I like my Moon Knight to hit really hard, but will still test if he needs the beefiness in PVP fights.

Haven't played enough Moon Knight yet, but seems to be very fun to tinker with and unpredictable in fights with his passive. He seems to fulfill the full offensive role with his skills, and the skill preference would definitely be reliant on his current personality. Goes well with follow-ups and counters I think, that is why I'll probably be teaming him up with Uncanny Cyclops or such.

  • Cleansing Empowered Iso-8
  • Inspiring Empowered Iso-8
  • Close Empowered Iso-8

Generalist EISO's are one of the best, so slotting him with Morale Boost and debuff reduction in theory would make Moon Knight really powerful, but a more offensive ISO than Cleansing would be Close to increase his critical hits more with his melee attacks (3/4 of his moves). Would recommend Cleansing and Inspiring for balanced build, and Inspiring and Close for the offensive build. Do note however that the buff from Inspiring does not stack with his Captain America personality buff.

Bishop

Mechanics seems really complicated, but anyway here's the build the solver came up with:

  • 5x Reactive Forceful (Orange)
  • 2x Reactive Steady (Purple)
  • 1x Reactive Stalwart (White)
    • +1287 Health / +680 Attack / +510 Defense / +595 Accuracy

ydfH1H8.png

Haven't played him enough yet to know his role and playstyle, but stat-wise, he has hopeless evasion, but great stats overall that can be very flexible if you want to focus on Health, Attack, or Defense. Build above boosts his Attack way above the goal, but you can change some crystals to suit your builds. Will update once I get to play him more.

Update: This guy is hella hard to train, his damage is :O

Heimdall

Defender of Bifrost, defender of pre-emptive counter attackers, follow-ups, counters, and stealth:

  • 5x Reactive Forceful (Orange)
  • 2x Reactive Steady (Purple)
  • 1x Reactive Stalwart (White)
    • +1287 Health / +680 Attack / +510 Defense / +595 Accuracy

rzE0svW.jpg

Heimdall has a very good moveset and unique passive, capable of disabling a whole lot of heroes in MAA, but lacks the base accuracy to make his attacks hit. The ISO build make sure that he applies his debuffs, and disable the enemy's strategy. Haven't tried him too much though, but SoA and debuff removal make his gameplay harder in PVP.

If you find yourself running out of Stamina though, you can sacrifice defense for it, exchanging one Steady and the Stalwart for a Vigorous and a Masterful (c/o BeyondLimitation and PKB).

I imagine him going well maybe with Wonder Man, since the enemies cannot attack anyone else but him, while Heimdall can provide him with everything he needs to hurt hard.

  • Close Empowered Iso-8

This is the only special mention, as Bruiser EISOs are a bit uselesss on him. Street fighting is more of an insurance that his L1 would crit, and crit really really hard for that matter.

Loki

Many hate his face in his sprite, but many more will hate him for his L6 in the next tourney. His damage is mediocre at best, so I've prepared him with a non-attack ISO build:

  • 4x Reactive Spry (Green)
  • 2x Reactive Patient (White)
  • 1x Reactive Adroit (Orange)
  • 1x Reactive Guardian (Yellow)
    • +2574 Health / +709 Defense / +255 Accuracy / +539 Evasion

If you do want to push Loki for the offense given his passive and L1, the solver could not build him to standard shape:

  • 4x Reactive Skillful (White)
  • 2x Reactive Steady (Purple)
  • 1x Reactive Violent (Red)
  • 1x Reactive Proficient (Orange)
    • +2574 Health / +738 Attack / +284 Accuracy / + 454 Evasion

grSr2Gl.jpg

This leaves him with a 4-bar Attack stat, which is probably enough to do decent damage. Still prefer the defensive one though. Loki however, lives up to his trickster status, especially with his powerful L6, turning the tides on buffed enemies. L9 is extremely useful as well in PVP, and his L2 just denies hitters 2 turns of attacking (unless the AI recharges, or of course, debuff removal). Overall, I find Loki quite the interesting off-support, dealing some damage but his utility lies in his 'tricks' perse. Looking forward to loving him and hating him in this PVP tourney.

  • Resonant Empowered Iso-8
  • Protective Empowered Iso-8

These are both defensive crystals, so if you plan on slotting them, you could sacrifice some health on the build for other stats like Attack. Resonant Iso is perfect for his magical abilities, granting you the health boost every turn, while Protective Iso can save his life in some situations (still could not playtest if shield is removable by effects)

Doctor Voodoo

Really strong for a no-hassle 90 cp hero, and good flexible stats to boot:

  • 6x Reactive Stalwart (White)
  • 2x Reactive Exact (Orange)
    • +2574 Health / +510 Attack / +738 Defense / +228 Accuracy

8a703b1c-927a-47a2-aaa4-8ce21d41a7e8_zps36746193.jpg

Since he starts with both a 2-bar stat in Defense and Evasion, you can actually take your pick of the two, just replacing the Stalwarts for Skillfuls and the Exacts for Dexterous. Build either way, he has a huge attack stat that goes well with his Blaster class. Have yet to test if he needs stamina or how to play him well. Looks like hes gonna be a monster in PVP with all those debuffs and his L9 :)

  • Resonant Empowered Iso-8

Special mention for the sustain provided with his all magic skillset.

Sabretooth

Dunno whether his moves are worthy of PVP right now, but here:

  • 5x Reactive Forceful (Orange)
  • 2x Reactive Steady (Purple)
  • 1x Reactive Stalwart (White)
    • +1287 Health / +680 Attack / +595 Defense / +510 Accuracy

1361362-sabertooth_zps3f053a53.jpg

If you do find him running out of Stamina, you can always swap out one Forceful for a Reactive Stoic, but I think his passive would be sufficient for Stamina regen. His sure revive passive is really something, but I think he has an awkward turn-order moveset, needing to apply bleed, get his buff, then deal his damage, but I heard that his L6 is beastly (considering it doesn't get removed by debuff removal). Or you can always put him in a bleed team, and get the passive all over the place. Some suggestions are Elektra, Tigra and Ares.

  • Aggresive Empowered Iso-8

For all those possible follow-ups and counters. :D

Spiral

Great base stats, making ISO'ing her easy to boost in offense or defense, whichever is needed:

  • 5x Reactive Skillful (White)
  • 2x Reactive Mercurial (Orange)
  • 1x Reactive Steady (Purple)
    • +2574 Health / +680 Attack / +255 Accuracy / +595 Evasion

a991d569-b685-4faf-8215-f1005b699374_zpsc7f37242.jpg

I can tell she'd be one of the best Infiltrators in the game, only if they were welcome in the current PVP meta. She deals tons of damage even at early levels, and while her passive is not too reliable, it becomes handy when it does proc. What I like about her sepcifically is her L2's ability to shut down a debuffer, and her L3's massive team debuffs and buffs (specifically like Macabre and Foutte). All in all, a great infiltrator.

  • Surprising Empowered Iso-8

Because she hits many enemies at the same time, adding a chance to stun would definitely help, though I am not sure if it applies to her L6 debuff... need someone to confirm since I just got her recently :))

Doctor Doom

Oh, the cause of a great uproar, turning the PVP meta upside down already at his early levels, so I'm giving him three builds:

Balanced Build:

  • 8x Reactive Chaotic (White)
    • +2288 Health / +2288 Stamina / +456 Attack / +456 Defense / +456 Accuracy / +456 Evasion

No joke, Doom finds any stat he gets useful, have yet to test out if he needs the accuracy or stamina, but full Chaotics is the best way to get the most out of your ISO, so there.

Offensive Build:

  • 3x Reactive Powerful (Purple)
  • 3x Reactive Forceful (Orange)
  • 2x Reactive Stalwart (White)
    • +2574 Health / +767 Attack / +255 Accuracy / +425 Defense

There isn't a single crystal here that doesn't boost his Attack, so a Protector agent is recommended greatly. In thi build, his Evasion is left at three bars, relying on the defense, and his massive attack to finish off enemies. Charging up his L9 would be the preferred strategy here, while the agent tanks and supports.

Defensive Build:

  • 5x Reactive Spry (Green)
  • 2x Reactive Athletic (White)
  • 1x Reactive Patient (White)
    • +3432 Health / +255 Accuracy / +510 Defense / +595 Evasion

You can exchange freely between Athletic and Patient if you want more Defense over Evasion, but this build really makes Doom tanky as hell. Couple this even with a tanky agent, and the main strategy then would be to wait for Ring Imperial and your debuffs to whittle down your opponent's health. Very annoying build to face.

PKB Attack-Defense Build:

  • 5x Reactive Forceful (Orange)
  • 3x Reactive Bulky (Orange)
    • +767 Attack / +425 Accuracy / +767 Defense

or

  • 5x Reactive Bulky (Orange)
  • 3x Reactive Forceful (Orange)
    • +825 Attack / +255 Accuracy / +825 Defense

If you find the health irrelevant for Doom, this is the all Attack and Defense Build, with some to raise his Accuracy to 6-bar (1st build) or to 5-bar for more Attack and Defense (2nd Build). The reasoning behind this is Doom won't get as much Health in investing ISO compared to other characters, so there. Thanks as always PKB :D

2035975-scan10214_zpse5059e89.jpg

Doom is the bomb (I like this version of Doom... mwahahaha)

... and yet I'm 6/8 with 140 lockboxes. Oh luck =))

  • Distant Empowered Iso-8
  • Resonant Empowered Iso-8
  • Increasing Empowered Iso-8

These are the few notable EISOs on him, using the Distant for added damage in crits, Resonant specifically for his defensive build, making him tankier even with regeneration, and Increading Iso if you find a lot of Blasters in your meta :D

Nico Minoru

Oh hello passive that regens her to full life:

  • 6x Reactive Stalwart (White)
  • 2x Reactive Exact (Orange)
    • +2574 Health / +510 Attack / +228 Accuracy / +738 Defense

tumblr_inline_mwwjlrDnoD1s4fzts_zps33a111a4.jpg

With this build, Nico is left with a 4-bar Health, and 5 bars in Attack, Defense and Accuracy, giving her enough of what she needs for her massive comeback after death. Defense is preferred over Evasion since you want her to get hit and die, and also because it is naturally higher than her Evasion. I have also found out that she is immune to damage and debuffs until her turn after she dies, making her get 2 free turns debuff free (dunno if SoA or buff removal can counter this), so this much health and defense is enough, and boosting her attack beyond the standard. Yet to figure out if I should reduce more health for attack, or maybe increase it more, but this is what I can theorize so far since I haven't gotten her yet (Task 16 @.@).

Generally the combo with her after getting resurrected would be L9 for bleeding, followed by Extra Turn on yourself for Rising Up (you  can skip this part), lay debuffs with More Dots or You Suck! if there are Tacts, and either lay more Debuffs or finally exploit the damage with Rock and Roll! Deals tons of damage with this build I hope. Awesome awesome Blaster :D

  • Distant Empowered Iso-8
  • Surprising Empowered Iso-8
  • Persisting Empowered Iso-8

You can also use Resonant, though the healing would kind of be useless with her survivability. Persisting is an alternative of Distant, since Radiation Exposure is Exploited by her Rock and Roll.

Moonstone

  • 3x Reactive Mercurial (Orange)
  • 2x Reactive Steady (Purple)
  • 2x Reactive Athletic (White)
  • 1x Reactive Skillful (White)
    • +2145 Health / +510 Attack / +595 Accuracy / +510 Evasion

2484625-moonstone_mmarvel_046_zps163ffb2e.jpg

Build like this, she would be a very balanced hero, but pop the quick action Tact EISO on her and she places exhausted AND buffs your melee attacks as a quick action. Very powerful.

I really like her passive, though random, it really can be useful and that L1 on quicksilver mehehehe. Her kit then is all around, and gameplay somewhat straightforward. What I like to do is use her L6 as a quick action, apply Immobilized to a melee hero IF I am sure that it will not be removed before that hero's turn. Otherwise, I go phased and next turn use her L9. (It's been buffed I think).

All in all, add in her EISO as well, she can be good and I see her with some team-ups.

Sunfire

Pair him with Human Torch and a burner Agent, and oh the Pyrophoric :D

  • 3x Reactive Steady (Purple)
  • 2x Reactive Skillful (White)
  • 1x Reactive Dexterous (Orange)
  • 1x Reactive Athletic (White)
  • 1x Reactive Mercurial (Orange)
    • +2574 Health / +510 Attack / +539 Accuracy / +454 Evasion

Untitled_zps163fe397.png

Now that the bug is fixed, he actually has great damage with Pyrophoric and his 1-hit L2. Perhaps the Explosive Empowered Iso-8 would be good on him, if you're actually lucky enough to spread paragon exploiter to everyone :))

Domino

Hmm, still can't tell if she's PVP viable, but her passive could get you there if you get lucky :D

  • 4x Reactive Skillful (White)
  • 2x Reactive Steady (Purple)
  • 2x Reactive Mercurial (Orange)
    • +2574 Health / +680 Attack / +340 Accuracy / +510 Evasion

comics20xmen20marvel20comics20comics20girls20domino201920x108020wallpaper_wwwwallpapernocom_31_zpse13e3e33.jpg

This build actually boosts her accuracy beyond 1800, so you could switch a Steady for a Powerful or Skillful ISO. I still have her at Level 4, though I think what will really build her up is her L6 and L9, which hopefully would start cooled down. A Distant Empowered Iso-8 would be convenient for her to crit even more added with her passive, but you could always use Surprising because of her multiple AoE moves.

Like the sprite art though :))

Iceman

Very cool hero, and cooler moveset :>

  • 5x Reactive Forceful (Orange)
  • 2x Reactive Stalwart (White)
  • 1x Reactive Powerful (Purple)
    • +1430 Health / +709 Attack / +425 Accuracy / +595 Defense

b75bf2eb-bf74-40f9-bcff-3b184132846b_zps55895e7d.png

Iceman has above average base stats, and this build capitalizes on that by boosting his Attack beyond. This is because this guy can really hurt, and with Death and Taxes, the damage would just pile up on the oppenent.

I have his alt, and he seems to work so much more with it. Basically in PvP I just spam his L2, and just hope for a stun, or an activation of his passive with the Deathfrost when the enemy attacks. I use his L6 to finish off an opponent, and that's it. Barely get to use his L9, but still very strong overall and a passive that is just waiting to turn the tables on your opponents. His counters are what really makes him hurt a lot, guaranteeing crits and bypassing resurrection effects once you have applied his L2 (all this if you have his alt)

Looking forward to his passive, but am afraid of brutal strikes and fatal blows :O

Fandral

First dual class hero I get to build on, and his base stats are already pretty nice allowing for a lot of flexible builds:

  • 3x Reactive Skillful (White)
  • 2x Reactive Violent (Red)
  • 2x Reactive Proficient (Orange)
  • 1x Reactive Steady (Purple)
    • +1716 Health / +796 Attack / +313 Accuracy / +483 Evasion

1914743-fandraldash_zpsd0520958.jpg

He generally only needs a small boost in Accuracy, Evasion, and Health, and you could put everything into Attack. What I did however was boost his Accuracy a few points above and Evasion one crystal above so he could survive more with the 2-stat defense, and make sure his attacks apply the debuffs. He gets a lot of attack in this build, however his damage might still be a bit mediocre, because what really brings Fandral is his arsenal of debuffs and buffs.

Nonetheless, with his counter attacks, the damage would be worthwhile. His Passive procs quite a lot and is extremely useful, but his L2 is just godly, applying to Depower to all non-Stealthy attacks. His L9 would also work great in a bleed team, applying the full three stacks in one turn, along with a Stealth property and Tenderized.

Turns out he can only equip Inf E-ISO for now, an interesting one would be Lingering Empowered Iso if it does apply poisoned with his L2 for the fun of it. So far, his kit really looks amazing, and am thinking of partnering him with a bleed team or a counter-attack follow up team (as long as the opponent is not Iron Fist :))

Looking forward to the possibility of the Warriors Three teaming up :D

Volstagg

Last of the Warriors Three is out! Looks really nice with his offtank role:

  • 5x Reactive Forceful (Orange)
  • 2x Reactive Steady (Purple)
  • 1x Reactive Stalwart (White)
    • +1287 Health / +680 Attack / +595 Accuracy / +510 Defense

volstagg_zps60c964fe.jpg

With his L2, he essentially becomes the tank of the team, with counters every now and then especially with his EISO, so I beefed up his Health and Defense, and the Accuracy as well to make sure his L1 applies the bleeding.

I say this guy tanks godly, with covered reducing damage by a whopping 50% (though is prone to removal) and his passive to chug his beer and restore 25% of his life and stamina (yay no stamina problems). His gameplay would be to tank for his team while applying bleeds, then finish with a big L9 which would hurt a lot with setup from Fandral's L1.

Equip him with the Extra Turns protector EISO as well for a more godly playstyle :)

Agent Venom

Love the character in the comics, but in-game...

  • 5x Reactive Mercurial (Orange)
  • 3x Reactive Skillful (White)
    • +1287 Health / +680 Attack / +425 Accuracy / +680 Evasion

OR

  • 3x Reactive Forceful (Orange)
  • 3x Reactive Stalwart (White)
  • 1x Reactive Exact (Orange)
  • 1x Reactive Bulky (Orange)
    • +1287 Health / +624 Attack / +369 Accuracy / +738 Defense

agentvenom_zps258cd734.jpg

Now he has some great base stats, being 3-bar in almost everything, but I built him two ways: the first boosting his Evasion and the second boosting Defense, both to 5-bars. I did this because Venom as a tank I feel would work best with a big Defense stat, but as a hitter the Evasion build might be more suitable.

However, Agent Venom is a very unstable character who transforms in and out, making usage of moves hard. Pair that with his weakness as an Infiltrator, and his damage is also a bit low for a mechanic like that. His Transformed L9 is definitely one of the stronger moves out there, but nothing really special about him :|

Went with the Evasion build because it boosts his attacks further, as he doesn't really technically tank. >:)

Falcon

Liked the movie, liked his portrait art, but the sprite... no.

  • 3x Reactive Proficient (Orange)
  • 3x Reactive Steady (Purple)
  • 1x Reactive Skillful (White)
  • 1x Reactive Violent (Red)
    • +1716 Health / +796 Attack / +369 Accuracy / +427 Evasion

Defensive build who plan on not giving him any attack and using him as a support >:)

  • 3x Reactive Patient (White)
  • 2x Reactive Adroit (Orange)
  • 2x Reactive Spry (Green)
  • 1x Reactive Guardian (Yellow)
    • +2145 Health / +709 Defense / +425 Accruacy / +454 Evasion

falcon_zps999d0269.jpg

Very nice passive that would work well with a protector, but then again... Quicksilver.

His moves have nothing too special individually, but combined they make him a great support hero. His L2 is really great for the Combat Awareness, which would let you counter with his L1 and get Rising Up for your team. His L9 is really cool with all the SHIELD agents popping up here and there, but am not sure if the damage would be significant enough in PVP. His L3 is underwhelming, exhausted being almost useless when you do get the stun. All in all not too bad a hero, but not too great either. He looks like Neurotrope in a hero now that I think about it.

Added a defensive build for those who want :))

Gamora

Daaaaamn, I really love that sprite, and Doom as her L1 @.@

  • 4x Reactive Skillful (White)
  • 2x Reactive Mercurial (Orange)
  • 1x Reactive Steady (Purple)
  • 1x Reactive Powerful (Purple)
    • +2717 Health / +709 Attack / +255 Accuracy / +510 Evasion

Gamora_by_Paul_Pelletier_1_zps7c714daa.jpg

Very great base stats to build on, 4 bars already in everything worth building, except on Health. With this, attack goes above 2300, and everything is above the standards already.

Nevertheless, what makes her PVP worthy is that passive, along with Doom itself. Cower just puts icing on the cake, and there we have one of the strongest tacs in the meta in my opinion. Her main weakness then would be Depower, being unable to do ANYTHING with that debuff applied. Note on her L2 too, Mangled is a pretty useful buff, shutting down heroes like Rescue and many gadgets on the Agent :))

With her alt though, Accuracy can be foregone, but critical hits would be a problem (unless Rocket is the teammate). Deciding on making a no-accuracy build for her and Rocket.

Taskmaster

Awesome concept for a character, and I really like his training moveset :)) Got him just one day before PVP ended

  • 3x Reactive Forceful (Orange)
  • 3x Reactive Stalwart (White)
  • 1x Reactive Steady (Purple)
  • 1x Reactive Chaotic (White)
    • +2002 Health / +286 Stamina / +652 Attack / +397 Accuracy / +567 Defense / +57 Evasion

tasky_zps9f2ca351.png

Because I really like the dialogue art.

Why the strange build? First, Taskmaster's stats are all balanced at three bars, so is nowhere as good as Cap's or Magneto's. Nevertheless, you can bring him up to ideals with the build above. I put in a Chaotic not for the stamina, but to be able to balance some lacking stats in Accuracy and Defense, so his Attack could be boosted up even more. He actually has attack of almost 2100 at L300 built like this, which I like. You can take your pick from Defense or Evasion, just replace the corresponding crystals.

Oh, and building him 8 Chaotics does not seem viable, but using 8 Refined Chaotics may be. You could also swap out a chaotic for a Forceful and the like.

Moves wise, Taskmaster seems to be a fun hero with all those skills, but somewhat unpredictable and you can't really choose what Power he would have. Of course my favorite would be Tact just for the Depower, but you have to let enemies attack him for a chance at other classes and extra turns. I still like his versatility in a fight though. Only time will tell if he could be PVP viable.

Hogun

Finishing off the Warriors Three, Hogun has good base stats to build on:

  • 5x Reactive Forceful (Orange)
  • 1x Reactive Steady (Purple)
  • 1x Reactive Stalwart (White)
  • 1x Reactive Patient (White)
    • +1287 Health / +595 Attack / +595 Defense / +595 Accuracy

hogun_zps01bc272e.jpg

Hogun already starts with a 4-bar attack stat, and with this build, we boost it a very high amount, and with the above par accuracy, his counter attacks and follow-ups would hurt. A lot. We build on defense since it's the higher of the two, and his health is enough to reach the ideals. Great stats.

I plan to use him with a Warriors Three team, just because his counter-attacks are guaranteed, but I also see him being used with heroes that have heavy follow-ups and counters, to make use of his drinking and his L2. Being an infiltrator might be a slight problem, and he can't equip Ukemi either. Aggresive Empowered Iso would work really well on him though, and with his char EISO, tacts are left vulnerable to him as well.

Great balanced hero, hurts really hard and often, but his drawback may be the lack of debuffs he places, so good support may be required. Looking forward to leveling this guy :)

Anti-Venom

Not really familiar with all these symbiotes, but here's the build:

  • 4x Reactive Forceful (Orange)
  • 2x Reactive Bulky (Orange)
  • 1x Reactive Steady (Purple)
  • 1x Reactive Violent (Red)
    • +429 Health / +767 Attack / +539 Accuracy / +568 Defense

JavXBUj.jpg

He starts already with a great Health and Attack stat, so we are free to do mix up the builds. I like my attack really high, so the build leaves him with a little more accuracy than needed, a defense that's one point lacking, and a monstrous attack of more than 400 from the ideal. I didn't know if it's necessary for a defensive type, but I feel Anti-Venom would make good use of the damage. In PvE he does lack Stamina, but this is a PvP build where Stamina is disregarded. I usually just use pots, recharge, or the Cosmic Cardinal + generalist recharge suit is enough.

Anti-Venom would generally open with his L2, an AoE depower + webbed, though depower has a 60% chance of activating (still a very good move). I find his other moves less useful, with the L6 for the damage exploitation. His L9 is situational, but L2 is better in my opinion.

Overall, Anti-Venom looks like he would show up in PvP, with his L2 and straight up immunity to many DoT effects. Imma pair him up with Spider-Man and maybe the new set if I feel it is worth buying. Stacking 3x Webbed for a sure Stun on round 1 is nice, but giving up all 4 slots for it is worth pondering over. We'll see :)

Sandman

3/8 on the progress bar with 7 covers. Last set to open to get him T_T

  • 3x Reactive Forceful (Orange)
  • 2x Reactive Steady (Purple)
  • 1x Reactive Stalwart (White)
  • 1x Reactive Bulky (Orange)
  • 1x Reactive Violent (Red)
    • +1287 Health / + 738 Attack / +539 Accuracy / +454 Defense

6vYt5nS.png

Stats are pretty standard, took a lot of crystals to boost his attack from 2-bar up to standards.

ISO'd properly, Sandman can be a very good one-shot artist with his Finest Hour Buffs. Even without Grit, his L2-L6 combo is just devastating. Accuracy is a bit above the required, so he should not miss too often. Overall, Sandman is a pretty straightforward bruiser/wrecking ball, who can kill targets while still stay safe with his L2. Very nice.

Shanna

Her Covert Task's pretty simple if you have the required heroes, so yeah :))

  • 3x Reactive Powerful (Purple)
  • 2x Reactive Proficient (Orange)
  • 1x Reactive Steady (Purple)
  • 1x Reactive Athletic (White)
  • 1x Reactive Deft (Green)
    • +3146 Health / +655 Attack / +170 Accuracy / +427 Evasion

CY3UFF3.jpg

This build jumps her accuracy a bit above to make sure she hits, but her Attack still says solid well above the target. Evasion is prioritized, and she has enough Health to tank a few hits and survive.

I'm still getting the hang on Shanna having recently recruited her, but her L9 looks really nice applying Flanked and Disoriented as a Stealthy action, and her L1 could shut down a lot of other heroes. Thinking of some poison team-ups with her. Will update soon :3

Rocket Raccoon

Pretty cool hero, too bad his passive got nerfed, but still a very fun hero to play with:

  • 4x Reactive Skillful (White)
  • 2x Reactive Steady (Purple)
  • 1x Reactive Violent (Red)
  • 1x Reactive Proficient (Orange)
    • +2574 Health / +738 Attack / +284 Accuracy / +454 Evasion

zWlzwoT.jpg

Great stats across the board with a poor Defense, which  I didn't bother to build. Built like this, he has just about 9k health, enough accuracy to make sure you hit, and a monstrous Attack stat that's way beyond the ideal. He hits hard and often, but his survivability is something to take into account.

Recently bought him, but I find the nerfed follow-up still a lot of fun to play with. Assuming there's no Iron Fist or Raft Shank, attaching the Ionizing AISO would make him even more of a monster with just his passive. Problems exist on Tacts, but nothing that a few debuffs or strategies can handle. Team-ups in mind are heroes with counters and follow ups, or those who can take advantage of the Rad Exposure with the EISO.

Really fun hero, still waiting for Groot and Star Lord :D

Cannonball

Really cool concept of a hero, but the execution built around his L2... meh.

  • 3x Reactive Steady (Purple)
  • 3x Reactive Skillful (White)
  • 2x Reactive Mercurial (Orange)
    • +2574 Health / +680 Attack / +425 Accuracy / +425 Evasion

77PKziI.png

With this build Attack is pushed way beyond the limit, and all others just reaching the standard. This is to boost his damage, but I don't see the damage as far as I'm playing him (currently level 5). This build makes sure he hits, he survives, and he has a lot of Attack, but his moveset...

Passive is awesome, L6 is awesome to counter tacticians (like Havok's L6) L9 is meh but nice to have anyway, but his turn order and damage gets really confusing. You start with L9 to apply Melt Armor, then end your turn with L2? You don't take damage from most attacks, but debuffs can still be applied on you, and is quite useless if the enemy doesn't even target you. Breakthrough on L6 is a bit of a waste, and turn order really stinks since you have to use the long cooldown L2 to really get anywhere with his damage.

Will get to experiment more, and hopefully get the hang of him >.<

Avalanche

Now all of his attacks are Ground and have 100% hit rate, sooo no accuracy build? :D

  • 5x Reactive Bulky (Orange)
  • 3x Reactive Powerful (Purple)
    • +1716 Health / +912 Attack / +570 Defense

But if you really want the standard build with accuracy (would only build it for the crit, but since he starts 4 bar accuracy, not really too hard to do):

  • 4x Reactive Stalwart (White)
  • 3x Reactive Forceful (Orange)
  • 1x Reactive Powerful (Purple)
    • +2288 Health / +709 Attack / +255 Accuracy / +595 Defense

P2OElr6.jpg

Sacrificed a tiny bit of Health in the no-accuracy build to push his Attack even further :0

Don't have him yet, must be my luck with lockboxes + limited friends who play. My decision, oh well.

Either build works fine, but I am gonna use the no accuracy one, mainly because the crit chance could be compensated with some AISOs. I don't know how much damage he is capable of, but that L6 is just godly. An AoE Generalized Exhausted attack that is a QUICK ACTION and even applies a buff to your team. WOW. Other moves seem ok and would be there to set up some big hits from his L9 or his teammates.

Passive gives a synergy to Sonic and Ground attack heroes, so Luke Cage and Sandman come to mind (and Black Bolt if you want him)

Groot

Oh wow, the perfect protector who can tank single and area attacks in his passive, I just love this guy:

  • 5x Reactive Forceful (Orange)
  • 2x Reactive Steady (Purple)
  • 1x Reactive Stalwart (White)
    • +1287 Health / +680 Attack / +595 Accuracy / +510 Defense

I also made a LOL pure attacker build that still gets everything above standards, with a monstrous attack:

  • 3x Reactive Violent (Red)
  • 3x Reactive Bulky (Orange)
  • 1x Reactive Steady (Purple)
  • 1x Reactive Forceful (Orange)
    • +429 Health / +854 Attack / +512 Accuracy / +427 Defense

zqJXR4a.jpg

Just recruited the guy, and he is just awesome. One of the best passives I've seen so far, very good skillset in Tree form and Flower form, and does good damage overall. Fun to play with, perfect with the Protect Bruiser EISO, Quick Action L2 that applies good debuffs, passives from L1 and L6 that make you hurt more, and the set for the Flower form just looks really great, all before reviving back to the mighty Groot. Love the guy.

Will update when I get to play him more. :D

Star-Lord

And now we have all the Guardians.

  • 4x Reactive Skillful (White)
  • 2x Reactive Steady (Purple)
  • 1x Reactive Proficient (Orange)
  • 1x Reactive Powerful (Purple)
    • +3146 Health / +738 Attack / +170 Accuracy / +454 Evasion

fhAOl7q.jpg

He has decent stats all around, but accuracy needs to be boosted a bit more because of his Wild Shots L2. His attack is a bit above the standards, Health is fairly high too to survive a few hits if his evasion fails.

Looks cool, acts cool, plays cooly in combat. Really like the playful buffs and attacks he has, I Have a Plan is godly when it procs, reminds me of Uncanny Cyclops without the revive passive. Works well with an opportunist team, and of course the other Guardians when their uniforms come out :D

Very multi-purpose character: L1 to cripple attackers, disable protectors, and buff up the team, L2 to deal his damage and test your luck, L6 for those who can get around your other attacks as well as more opportunity to set up, and L9 to burst single target or apply some more Opportunists. That AoE Fatal Blow though :O Really versatile hero that has no straightforward gameplay.

Can't wait for the other guardians, or at least his alt to change his class.

Drax

Huh, very early release, and earliest of the uniforms. Cool nonetheless.

  • 5x Reactive Stalwart (White)
  • 2x Reactive Forceful (Orange)
  • 1x Reactive Violent (Red)
    • +2145 Health / +709 Attack / +284 Accuracy / +595 Defense

This is the standard build, but if you want to build Evasion so his L2 could stay longer:

  • 3x Reactive Mercurial (Orange)
  • 3x Reactive Skillful (White)
  • 1x Reactive Proficient (Orange)
  • 1x Reactive Deft (Green)
    • +1859 Health / +624 Attack / +255 Accuracy / +738 Evasion

VFomNrM.png

This guy has really great stats, so the defense build straps Attack on each crystal there, giving him almost 2300 Attack at L300. He could afford to go Evasion build because it's only a one bar difference against Defense, and would be useful if you don't have a protector. Either way works.

Early release, still levelling him up, but he's a very unique bleeder who can really hurt hard if gets his L2 going. Aggresive EISO would also make him godly if he has an Infiltrator to paly with, and hitters to counter-attack.  Too early to say if he's PVP material. Alt costume effect can be worth it with Shred, but works only on a Guardians team.

Medusa

Oh yes, the Queen of the Inhumans...

  • 5x Reactive Skillful (White)
  • 2x Reactive Violent (Red)
  • 1x Reactive Powerful (Purple)
    • +2717 Health / +767 Attack / +228 Accuracy / +425 Evasion

And a defense build for those who want to scale better with her passive, and not rely on Evasion:

  • 4x Reactive Stalwart (White)
  • 3x Reactive Forceful (Orange)
  • 1x Reactive Bulky (Orange)
    • +1716 Health / +709 Attack / +255 Accuracy / +709 Defense

FNhue2J.jpg

Note however, that Evasion build gives her more stats, and Defense build has most stats just a little bit below standards, and just take into account the boost from her passive. Have yet to play her thouroughly, but passive with Tied-Up makes for a very interesting tanker. I do think that her L9 is godly, but it does start cooled down.

Waiting for the buffs for her husband, if any :)

Ka-Zar

After that long break of no new heroes, we're back :)

  • 3x Reactive Mercurial (Orange)
  • 2x Reactive Steady (Purple)
  • 2x Reactive Skillful (White)
  • 1x Reactive Powerful (Purple)
    • +2288 Health / +709 Attack / +425 Accuracy / +425 Evasion

Or maybe another defense build if you really don't like Evasion (he gets more stats for the above though)

  • 3x Reactive Forceful (Orange)
  • 3x Reactive Stalwart (White)
  • 1x Reactive Sturdy (Green)
  • 1x Reactive Exact (Orange)
    • +1859 Health / +510 Attack / +369 Accuracy / +738 Defense

K9c4Mk9.png

I'd still go for the Evasion build, since it makes great use of all his stats, and increases his Attack to very high levels, and yet to be boosted by his passive. The defense build still gets everything up to standards, if you really hate evasion. Ka-Zar has high base stats to be honest, and a stat booster to attack still. Hoping he has high enough base damage on skills to take advantage. :))

I generally see him as another tanker and counter, much like Volstagg (same double class haha). He has an automatic Covered with his passive, and still hurts hard with his L9. He has a problem spreading the bleeding and other debuffs for his great finisher, but he seemes an interesting defender with a new niche in the meta, maybe works well with other Bleeders, or Opportunist spreaders. His L6 is definitely a plus in his kit, a strong L9, and passives. Looking forward to levelling this guy :D

Kang

A more offensive Doom with a more direct moveset, with that fashion sense :D

  • 3x Reactive Bulky (Orange)
  • 3x Reactive Proficient (Orange)
  • 1x Reactive Powerful (Purple)
  • 1x Reactive Violent (Red)
    • +572 Health / +912 Attack / +114 Accuracy / +342 Defense / +342 Evasion

And here's PKB's build for those interested, which prioritizes more health:

  • 4x Reactive Powerful (Purple)
  • 2x Reactive Chaotic (White)
  • 2x Reactive Expert (Orange)
    • +2860 Health / +740 Attack / +114 Accuracy / +284 Defense / +284 Evastion

cC97Ifi.png

Why this build? Well, building above the standards for any hero in general would have diminishing returns, and with Kang's 4 bar in everything already with a marginably lower Attack stat, I just set everything up to par and a little bit more, while strapping as much Attack as I can on the guy. Dodges some, tanks well with some good HP and Defense, Accuracy above standard, and hits like a time-traveling truck. All-in-one tanker and attacker.

Full chaotics can possibly be substituted for a not so high Attack but higher stats in everything else. Would work wonders with Refined Reactive version though (if you get them in roulettes all the time). This is a prelim build, as I dont have him yet. I'd like to add more builds for such a verstaile one-man hero team with the agent, so suggestions are welcome :)) More accuracy? Focus on defense? Is health still worth investing on?

Just got the guy, and he is a bog pain to level up. Have to rely on the agent until about L6 when he can hold his own. Timestream displacement is his true source of damage, and his shield needs to be constantly up to debuff the enemy. This could be solved with high enough Defense, Evasion and Health, added with his Passive Out of Time. As per the 2 builds above, go with the former for more damage on follow-ups, and counters, or the latter for a stronger and longer lasting shield. Either way works. :)

Gorgon

Oooooh, another Inhuman. Sprite looks nice :D

  • 4x Reactive Steady (Purple)
  • 3x Reactive Forceful (Orange)
  • 1x Reactive Stalwart (White)
    • +2145 Health / +680 Attack / +595 Accuracy / +340 Defense

lxPv2TY.png

Just went with the Solver solution for this one. Quite straightforward stats and playstyle, he has a good starting health and defense, and this build brings everything to standards with a formidable enough attack stat.

From first glance, his passive buffs looks really nice. Free rising up every turn? Immunity to Pressure Points for Inhumans? Chance to apply intimidated and demorilized? Yes please. This alone makes him a great partner for Finest Hour heroes and gears, along with setting himself up with a nice L9 (Kicks Like a Mule though). His damage is above average, he builds up with his skills, and brings enough debuffs on the table with his L6. Very simple playstyle - Charge your skills with L1 or L2, debuff with L6, and finish off with L9. Not quite sure if a damage player like him would fare well in the PvP world of debuffs and DoTs. No real synergy with the other Inhumans yet, though I am really looking forward to Karnak who 'might' just have Finest Hour. Or maybe the rework on Black Bolt. :D

Blade

Sprite looks cool, SpecOps looks cool, and its is. Blade however...

  • 4x Reactive Skillful (White)
  • 3x Reactive Mercurial (Orange)
  • 1x Reactive Steady (Purple)
    • +2145 Health / +680 Attack / +340 Accuracy / +595 Evasion

Se2ViIB.jpg

He has decent starting stats and getting to ideals is not too hard with him, and the single Reactive Steady would be the flexible ISO if you do decide to add stamina to the guy, unneeded for pvp though. Raised his accuracy a bit higher than normal for those follow-up Fatal Blows to hit. Easy build.

His immunity passive and bleed dodge are okay, and his follow ups are really nice. However, turn order becomes really difficult and long: setup a bleed, use L2 to get quickening, before L9 when he gets better stats and takes two turns. Really hard to pull off in PvP, even with a bleeder team because of debuff/buff removals. Might need to give him extra turns to take full effect? Still not too much benefit for all the trouble.

Blade also deals okay damage, but not enough without his L9 or quickening. A just okay character.

Morbius

Still collecting those Oozes. Lack of ISO :|

  • 5x Reactive Mercurial (Orange)
  • 2x Reactive Steady (Purple)
  • 1x Reactive Skillful (White)
    • +1297 Health / +680 Attack / +595 Accuracy / +510 Evasion

rmWwDMH.jpg

Don't have the guy yet, but he seems versatile at least - rotating between L2 and L6. L6 is a monster right now, all those debuffs and you can use it every round. L2 for Mangled and Exhausted, but generally just spam L6, and L9 to boost stats a bit. Still a mystery how to use this guy for me though. His L1 deals decent enough damage with Bleeding and Delirium to finish off opponents, but then again, needs the bleeding to ensure the crit.

Still figuring out the guy. Will update when I get to play him.

Fixer

Just got the guy, dunno how he works or plays yet, but here's the solver's solution:

  • 3x Reactive Forceful (Orange)
  • 3x Reactive Stalwart (White)
  • 1x Reactive Steady (Purple)
  • 1x Reactive Patient (White)
    • +2145 Health / +595 Attack / +425 Accuracy / +595 Defense

QuL8ugI.png

He has decent enough base stats, and this build gives him a little bit higher Accuracy to land his crucial L1s, and a lot of Attack in excess from the standard so he could hurt really hard; his L1 would do a lot of damage, regardless of detonating the bombs. His defense is also stacked and with his different L9 abilities, he would stay alive for quite a long time.

Turn progression seems really sloppy on this one, since you need two full turns to attach and detonate the bomb, without any other way to. His L1 is verstaile enough with a decent base damage though, and paired up with a multiclass which has different passives, he could fit well into many situations. WIth his Blaster passive, Tech attacks would work really nicely (Omega Sentinel perhaps), and his other 2 passives may not be that great but still fine to have. Fixer seems like a very interesting hero, but I think they need to fix er detonation mechanics.

Looking forward to leveling this hero and trying team-ups :D

Molly Hayes

All Bruiser team? :D

  • 3x Reactive Steady (Purple)
  • 3x Reactive Stalwart (White)
  • 1x Reactive Patient (White)
  • 1x Reactive Focused (Purple)
    • +3575 Health / +510 Attack / +454 Accuracy / +340 Defense

Still a tentative build, where I build stats up to par and put all the rest into her Stamina:

  • 3x Reactive Flourishing (Purple)
  • 3x Reactive Stalwart (White)
  • 1x Reactive Patient (White)
  • 1x Reactive  Steady (Purple)
    • +3432 Health / +1287 Stamina / +340 Attack / +425 Accuracy / +340 Defense

qx2JnAD.jpg

Molly has a really low base stat Health, so each ISO straps health on her, coupled with her vulnerability to Blasters and her L6 Protector, she needs that stat. Defense is built up to par, and I sacrificed a little bit of Attack for her Health and some Accuracy for her Deadly Crit L2. She's fine enough like this, high enough Attack to hit really hard and with that Enraged, and not easy to be bruised.

Her passive seems really interesting, thinking of an all-Bruiser line up with instant Enraged stacks for everyone, and immunity to Stun and Fear effects :O She seems really good right now, hits like a truck just with her L1 and L2, and her L9 looks really useful to round up her build. Looks to be a really strong character.

And of course, that very interesting L6, not just to tank the damage, but to have as many turns as your stamina would allow. Or that's how I understand it anyway. Will build her up to Level 6, and playtest Stamina builds to make sure she gets the most out of that L6. Stamina build below shoots the Stamina as high as possible without endangering any other stat, but without taking into account the exact Stamina her moves consume'. PvP-wise, this would be the best approach since Stamina is reliant on your Armory. 'Suggestions are still welcome. :D

Crystal

Just the solver build for this one, she has lower base stats than I'd like, with great utility in her moveset:

  • 5x Reactive Stalwart (White)
  • 2x Reactive Forceful (Orange)
  • 1x Reactive Steady (Purple)
    • +2574 Health / +680 Attack / +255 Accuracy / +595 Defense

pP2twcf.jpg

I love her splash, hate her sprite, and like her moveset. Stat-wise, it is a little low so the only stat boosted above the standards would be her attack to allow her L6 to hurt more, and it does hurt a lot, but turn progression with her can be quite slow. Defense and evasion start the same, so take your pick; I chose Defense for the scaling with her shield.

Her L1 lacks a bit of versatiliy with just burning, unlike L2 with at least Exhausted slapped on. L9 has some great debuffs, but what you're really looking for with this character is applying Gale Force, and hurting a lot with her L6. You can only choose one of these however, and the need to use the corresponding attack to activate L6... is just a bit slow. If you bought the Weather Control Device (which I did), this would speed her up quite fast, and you can rely on counter attacks instead.

An okay character, really balanced but being a blaster, may not see her in PvP.

Hybrid

Still bitter about this guy, opening 200 lockboxes and getting 7/8 ><

QQO3DaF.jpg

Not gonna provide a build for this one yet, sorry. Lots of blogs about him though.

Karnak

With all offensive moves having 100% hit and crit... no accuracy needed:

  • 4x Reactive Proficient (Orange)
  • 2x Reactive Powerful (Purple)
  • 2x Reactive Skillful (White)
    • +2002 Health / +854 Attack / +626 Evasion

o1SumGT.jpg

Without the need for accuracy, you really have the power to change up the stats the way you want to, and the way I like it is with maximum Attack stat. Almost 700 Attack above par, this guy would hurt so much, with decent enough stats to take hits from enemies.

He has great passives, making use of his damage with his counters. His own setup is quite weak however, with his L2 being on cooldown for the first round. Generally, L6-L2L9 is what you would do with the guy, but having an ally set him up would make sure he gets the kills with his L9. Not really sure how much damage this guy deals fully ISO'd (just got him), but on paper, he should do tons of damage. Pair him up with Unarmed setup guys to fully utilize him, or with Inhumans for the buffs and added bonuses. Don't think of him as PvP material, but still fun to mess around with.

Did not get Nova as well this season, always finishing a few points short of Adamantium >< Oh well.
