6. Heroic Battle Task IconAcorn Task Icon Border Win the Heroic Battle in Chapter 6 Mission 4

Bright Eyed, Bushy Tailed - 6 of 10

  • Win the Heroic Battle in Chapter 6 Mission 4. Requires Wolverine.
    • This battle was very hard, and much harder than the Facebook version. Sabretooth must be fought in 3 waves and you must fully defeat him in each wave (unlike on Facebook, where you only need to reduce his health to 50% for the first 2 waves). The first wave isn't difficult. Sabretooth has his passive healing ability, but that's it. The second wave, Sabretooth gains an extra stack of Healing Factor. Your Wolverine will need to out damage his healing. The third wave, Sabretooth looses his extra stack of Healing Factor and gains Frenzy, which gives him 2 attacks per turn. Your Wolverine will need to be able to withstand his extra damage output. My Wolverine is level 10. I found that I ended up using Wolverine's Adamantium Claws (L1) attack almost exclusively to keep bleeding stacked up on Sabretooth. Occasionally I would heal Wolverine with Rapid Healing (L6) when his health dropped to 50%. I basically used this strategy until I won. I had to update Wolverine's ISO to the Reactive ones, but after several attempts, I won this battle.
  • Requires ?? Gold icon Gold to Auto-Finish
  • Reward: ??

7. Distress Calls Task IconAcorn Task Icon Border Collect 3 Distress Calls

Bright Eyed, Bushy Tailed - 7 of 10

  • Collect 3 Distress Calls
    • Visited my allies page. Picked the 3 highest level allies that I hadn't collected Distress calls on yet, and collected them.
  • Requires ?? Gold icon Gold to Auto-Finish
  • Reward: ??

8. Heroic Battle Task IconAcorn Task Icon Border Win the Heroic Battle in Chapter 8 Mission 5

Bright Eyed, Bushy Tailed - 7 of 10

  • Win the Heroic Battle in Chapter 8 Mission 5. Requires Nightcrawler
    • This battle was actually a slightly bit easier than the last one. If you have the Scrapper Swashbuckler Nightcrawler, then this task will be trivial for you. I don't. My Nightcrawler is level 10. I updated Nightcrawler to Reactive Iso and did this battle a lot of times. Eventually, I got lucky and was able to take out Mystique right after she got her Iso-8 Enhancement on, which gives her extra attacks and healing over time. If Nightcrawler manages to Bamf! to avoid Mystique's attack a once or twice and also manages to stun her with his Night Kick (L2) you're pretty much on your way to victory.
  • Requires ?? Gold icon Gold to Auto-Finish
  • Reward: ??

9. Heroic Battle Task IconAcorn Task Icon Border Win the Heroic Battle in Chapter 10 Mission 5

Bright Eyed, Bushy Tailed - 9 of 10

  • Win the Heroic Battle in Chapter 10 Mission 5. Requires Cable and Deadpool
    • This battle is insanely difficult. I used up all my energy for 2 and a half days exclusively attempting to complete this task. I have a Level 11 Cable and level 10 Deadpool, and I could not win this battle. Basically, Cable and Deadpool are just not the right heroes to deal with X-Ray and Vector. If I had Black Panther, then they'd be no problem. Oh well, that's not the cards we're dealt. This is how I eventually managed to complete this task: After enough attempts, the turn order will eventually fall in your favor and Cable will go first. If you are really lucky, Deadpool will go second. I used Cable's Temporal Shift to give him an extra turn. I used Body Slide to keep Mirror Images up, and occasionally Askani Arts or Assault Rifle for damage and debuffs. If Vector fires up Kinetic Shield or X-Ray uses Incorporeality, then I'd avoid wasting attacks on them and focus on Vapor, but otherwise I'd focus on either Vector or X-Ray and take them out in turn. If Cable is on T-O Overdrive, then he can use his Psychic attacks against X-Ray while X-Ray is incorporeal. Deadpool's only job is to take out Vapor and chain his buffs up until he has all of them running and hopefully get Level 16 Ranger up so that I can use Happy to See You to get Super Heroic. I was defeated in the first wave almost all of the time. I managed to get both heroes to the second wave only twice, but was handily defeated by Ironclad, but then I discovered the Combat Store. I eventually managed to get Cable to survive to the second wave and bought a Nullifier for 10 gold and defeated Ironclad with it. If I had managed to get both heroes into the second wave, I might have bought a Team Restoration Pack for 4 gold and fought Ironclad, but after so many attempts, I was fed up with this battle and went with the Nullifier.
  • Requires 75 Gold icon Gold to Auto-Finish
  • Reward: ??

10. Doctor Doom 1 Task IconAcorn Task Icon Border Defeat Dr. Doom

Bright Eyed, Bushy Tailed - 10 of 10

  • Defeat Dr. Doom
    • Since I've been on the Chapter 10 Mission 5 map for the past 3 days, I chose to fight the Doctor Doom boss here. This is important: This task is bugged. You will not get credit for defeating Doctor Doom if you win the fight. Instead, knock out Doctor Doom in the first wave of this battle, and then just recharge your heroes until you lose the battle. This will complete the task.
  • Requires ?? Gold icon Gold to Auto-Finish
  • Reward: ??

There you have it. After that, it's just a matter of having 90 Command Points to recruit Squirrel Girl. There has been a lot of anger over these tasks, but at least we should be thankful we didn't need to collect acorns.
