|Maria Hill:||Agent, we're integrating more British heroes into our efforts here. Meet Union Jack.|
|Union Jack:||Call me Joey, mate.
I'll get right to it. The Hellfire Club's on a treasure hunt. You'll see some of the locations they're scouting on the map. We hit them first, we can cut them off and find out what they're after before they get it.
|Tony Stark:||Short and to the point. There's your briefing, Agent. Now let's go.|
Mini-Boss - Jack O'Lantern
|I'm going to apply for British citizenship. One of my grandparents was Irish. That's good enough, right?||Jack O'Lantern:|
|Union Jack:||Do I look like a bloody passport clerk?|
|You represent the crown, right? Flag on your outfit and all? Anyway, the reason I bring it up is that if I was British I'd call myself Union Jack O'Lantern.||Jack O'Lantern:|
|Union Jack:||Would you now.|
|I'll wring the blood out of your costume and wear it myself. The kids'll love it.||Jack O'Lantern:|
|Union Jack:||All right. That's quite enough.|
|Union Jack:||That's one chatterbox of a pumpkin.|
|Agent Coulson:||No one has ever said that before in the history of mankind. Congratulations.|
Boss - Dragoness
|The working man's hero. 'Allo, Jacky. What's up on Coronation Street?||Dragoness:|
|Union Jack:||Spare me. Find your magic whatsit yet?|
|Oooh, you're onto our diabolical plan. I'm so terrified.||Dragoness:|
|Union Jack:||Don't care if you're terrified. You can take a punch happy or take it scared, but either way you'll take it.|
|Union Jack:||Uh oh.|
|Nick Fury:||Uh oh, what?|
|Union Jack:||Fury, you're going to want to see this yourself. Mum's the word over this channel.|
|Nick Fury:||Bring it in, Union Jack. Radio silence.
Agent, ride shotgun with Union Jack to the Helicarrier.
|Tony Stark:||Intel's been busy putting two and two together. Their conclusion is... well, surprising doesn't really do it justice.|
|Union Jack:||The Hellfire Club is after the Philosopher's Stone.|
|Maria Hill:||That exists?|
|Nick Fury:||They think it does. If they're right, we need to keep it off the board. No rest for the weary, Agent.|
|Agent Coulson:||We don't even want to contemplate what might happen if the Philosopher's Stone gets put together with Iso-8.|
|Tony Stark:||Captain Britain is in the field. Link up with him as soon as you've debriefed.|
|Tony Stark:||Jack, you're on. Let's get your Iso-8 exposure measured so we can get you back out busting up the bad guys.|
|Union Jack:||Bloody bureaucracy.|
|Union Jack:||That's it?|
|Tony Stark:||That's it.|
|Union Jack:||Good. Think I'll go hit someone.|
|Maria Hill:||Agent, we've recorded another meteor impact, this time in the Orkney Islands. Tony is leading the response team.|
|Tony Stark:||Whatever fell out of the sky here, it's gone. All I'm seeing is a big hole in the ground. What's the situation in London?|
|Maria Hill:||Our friends in Excalibur have tipped us off to a HYDRA meeting of some kind. We're here to observe and support if necessary.
Jack, what can you tell us?
|Union Jack:||You said it already. There's HYDRA nests all through our fair city. I was just about to start clearing them out. Happy for a little company, if you've got time and inclination.|
|Nick Fury:||Let's do that. But let's also keep the big picture in mind. These meteor impacts aren't just late Iso-8 fragments falling to Earth. There's some kind of bigger disturbance happening.|
Mini-Boss - Arnim Zola
|Agent Coulson:||Look who we've got here. Arnim Zola.|
|Maria Hill:||He survived the Grim Reaper fireworks, it seems. Any sign of other HYDRA leadership?|
|Union Jack:||None yet.|
|Maria Hill:||We figured HYDRA would start to fracture because of the Red Skull's return. Witnessing their subcommanders scramble in secret meetings is a good sign that we were right.|
|Agent Coulson:||He won't be alone. Keep an eye out for his protection.|
|Ah, the ersatz Captain America is here. Should I be insulted that the genuine Rogers did not appear?||Arnim Zola:|
|I do as I please. As you can see, HYDRA responds to my commands.||Arnim Zola:|
|Union Jack:||Persistence is the key. You Jerries never stick to a fight over the long haul.|
|Union Jack:||We've got Zola. Be a chum and pick him up before I make him forget too much.
Agent, let's you and me make sure we cleared out all the HYDRA infestation.
|Maria Hill:||We concur, Union Jack. Zola said he was doing this on his own, but that seems unlikely. Stay vigilant.|
Boss - Taskmaster
|Union Jack:||Aha. There's the hired muscle. Agent, have you had the privilege of tangling with Taskmaster?
He's a nasty piece of work.
|Agent Coulson:||We've seen him around. Red Skull's reappearance seems to have drawn Masters back into the HYDRA fold.|
|Union Jack:||How about we make his reunion a short one?|
|Union Jack:||Riding shotgun for Zola, I see.|
|Shotgun? Hardly. The shotgun is a weapon for people without skill or the appreciation of skill.||Taskmaster:|
|Union Jack:||I see nobody taught you about figurative language in your assassin school, did they, mate?
So I'll get literal. You and Zola a splinter cell, or can we expect the Red Skull to pop by as well?
|He doesn't show me his daily planner. And in a few minutes it won't matter to you.||Taskmaster:|
|Union Jack:||Let's repeat the lesson.|
|Union Jack:||Fury, I thought Taskmaster was zonked out, but when I'd cleared away the rest of the HYDRA foot soldiers, he was gone.|
|Nick Fury:||He must've been able to tell we had Zola. Do an intel sweep and figure out who else is in on Zola's side project here.|
|Maria Hill:||If that's what it is.|
|Nick Fury:||We'll know soon enough.|
|Union Jack:||Well, I was in New York anyway. Where do I start?|
|Union Jack:||Can't give you a firm number, Fury, but I can tell you there's more than one.
I saw another one, and there's an entire lab filled with--
|Nick Fury:||Okay. Hold on. That's material for a classified briefing.|
|Tony Stark:||Anyone want a short vacation in Svartalfheim? Endless darkness, misery, mortal threats at every turn?|
|Union Jack:||I'm in. Sounds like Manchester.|
|Tony Stark:||I knew we could count on you, Jack. Bring out a collection of artifacts the team's put together and get it here, if you would.|
|Union Jack:||I was wrong. It's nothing like Manchester. No football nutters in Svartalfheim.|
Mini-Boss - Union Jack
|Did you bring the book? If not, you'd better go get it. I'll count to a hundred before I start wrecking Quinjets.||Union Jack:|
|Fantomex:||I don't carry books into a fight. I like to keep my reading time separate from my battling-against-brainwashed-pals time.|
|The book. I'm already on twelve.||Union Jack:|
|Fantomex:||You're not listening.|
|The book. And fast.||Union Jack:|
|Union Jack:||That was a hell of a wallop... but I guess I ought to thank you.|
|Fantomex:||You're welcome. Any Dracula left in your head?|
|Union Jack:||No. All me. Sorry about that.|
|Fantomex:||No apology necessary. We've all been mind-controlled here and there. Occupational hazard.|
