It has has been said that DC makes beter comic hero cartoons but their movies stink. On the other hand Marvel makes the better movies but their cartoons stink.
What say you? I have my own opinion but would like to hear what you have to say. Then I will post mine as not to sway any one thoughts.
Having so much fun with the old Marvel cartoons reliving my childhood. Here is one more. The first appearance of the X-Men in a cartoon. Got to love it. Watch how Ice Man runs. And the Beast is the way that I grew up with and would love to have an alt uniform for him in the game.
What is funny is that the animation (if you want to call it that) for all of these shows was taken from the comics themselves.
Some background, In those days Namor was not the hero that he is today, He was the bad guy. Misunderstood but still a bad guy. This particular story was originally from a Fantastic Four Annual and the story was the wedding of Sue and Reed. Notice that they never show up in the story, and in fact they change the apearance of Sue in one shot. I think they were devloping a Saturday Morning cartoon for them at the time and so they would have been off limits. These were afternoon kifs home from school shows, usually hosted by a local talent.

WHHHHAAAAAAAT?!!?!!?!? DC MOVIES STINK?!!?!?! They are great maybe except batman and robin) but the christopher nolan batman series stinks like trash? I love them.. Not to mention that epic trailer for man of steel..
Shoop... did you ever see the original Superman movies? I think that you might say that they DC movies were pretty bad back then as a whole.
Okay, doc, i'd have to agree with you on that one! yes, the dc movies back then (especially superman) were shallow and cheesy. But c'mon, you'd have to agree with me that chris nolan has brought batman to a whole new level with his trilogy..
just curious how old were you when you watched those first superman movies :) if you were a kid when they came out in the theaters you thought they were awesome not cheesy. Only cheesy by todays standards.
Well yeah then they suck :P its sorta like watching star wars in 2010 for the first time and going I dont get why this is so popular it looks horrible and cheesy. Back in the early 80s those superman movies were amazing to us kids :)

I was born in 1953 so by the time the 80's hit I was in my 30's and raising two kids of my own and one of my (now) ex-wife. By the time the third one came out I thought the idea behind it was so bad that I waited till it came out on VHS. I guess as old as I was, and as much as I read them growing up (and knowing the back stories) I was a little jaded with them.

WRONG!!! Watching the Star Wars Movies in 2010s Still gives you an incomparable sense of awe and wonder at their sheer awesomeness (I shamefully watched late. This is True)
