Tips for Completing the ListEdit
- Completing Tasks 1~5: These tasks can be done in a single playthrough of Mission 1. When you get to task 3, first defeat the 3 Hellfire Elites in the mini-boss. Then face the high threat and defeat the Hellfire Elite there before losing. Then you can repeat the high threat and defeat it this time. This completes the task and lets you move onto the next one which requires you to use Emma Frost in battle, which can be done in the Avalanche mini-boss battle. Once that is done, you can complete the mission by defeating the Blob.
- Completing Tasks 6~8: This is relatively simple. Just work on 2 star mastery of Mission 1 while the research completes. You will need it for later anyways. Wait to pick up your Daily UISO-8 gifts until after you complete the research. If task 8 doesn't complete right after collecting the gifts, you may need to refresh to get the task to register as completed.
IF you do not get to 3 star mastery on Mission 1, that is okay. You will need to use Emma Frost's abilities in future tasks, so you can save the date with Avalanche for later and save up your UISO-8 for the time-being.
- Completing Tasks 9~15: Start mission 2, by defeating the first 2 medium threats and the high threat for a total of 10 sentinels. Then use any X-men in any battle (including battles from non-spec op missions). If you don't have any X-men, you can use the team-ups in mini-boss fights. Once that is done and you are waiting for the research to finish, work on 3 star mastery of Mission 2. Right before the research ends, set up your missions to complete the next two tasks. In mission 2, get to the Omega Sentinel, but do not defeat her yet. In any regular mission, have 3 deploys waiting to be completed. Once the research ends, you just needs to click on the 3 deploys, then defeat Omega Sentinel to move on. You can use EMP Grenades outside of Spec Ops to complete task 14.
- Completing Tasks 16~22: This will be done in two or three runs of mission 3 depending on your total score. Below I will list a couple of different strategies that you can choose from.
Two runs - Total of 230 UISO-8 or 280 UISO-8. This method assumes you have Colossus, Scarlet Witch, and Phoenix. On your first run, you will want to attempt for the Epic boss by completing all threats and all deploys. The first two deploys (Colossus and Scarlet Witch) will allow you to attempt all the threats on the mission. You will end up defeating all 5 threats in order to defeat the 10 Beta level test subjects. Then you will complete task 18 when you three-bird the main boss battle. Keep an eye on your mission score after you defeat Juggernaut as it will let you know what you want to do on your second run. Complete task 19 outside of Spec Ops. You should have unlocked the Epic Boss, where you will complete task 20. The PVP task should be simple, but you will need to pay gold if you are banned from PVP. Now on your second run, you have a choice on whether or not you want to go after the Epic Boss again. If you are confident with your score, then you may just want to go after Juggernaut. All you need to do is deploy both Colossus and Scarlet Witch, then once all the threats are defeated you will three-bird the boss battle to complete task 22.
Three runs - Total of 270 UISO-8. This method assumes you have at least Colossus and Scarlet Witch. (Please Note: You will eventually need to get Phoenix in order to complete task 25 and get Emma Frost). Each of the three runs will follow the same process. You will deploy both Colossus and Scarlet Witch only. On your first run, you will complete task 17 after defeating all 5 threats. Then you will try to finish task 18 when you three-bird the main boss. You can complete task 19 outside of SpecOps. On your second run through, you will complete task 20 when you three-bird the main boss a second time. Task 21 will be completed in PVP, of course. And finally on your third run will complete task 22 after defeating the main boss a third time.
Three runs - Total of 330 UISO-8. This methods assumes you don't have any of the three heroes required to get the Epic Boss. (Please Note: You will eventually need to get all three of these heroes (Colossus, Scarlet Witch, and Phoenix) in order to complete task 25 and get Emma Frost). Here you won't be able to do any deploys. You will end up facing each threat and mini-boss separately for a total of 110 UISO-8 per run. Task 17 will be completed during your first run before you get to the Toad mini-boss. Your objective would be to complete task 18 by the time you have defeated Juggernaut. You can complete task 19 outside of SpecOps. On your second run through, your main objective is to complete task 20 by the time you have defeated Juggernaut for the second time. Then you will need to complete task 21 in PVP or skip it if you are banned from PVP. And finally you will complete task 22 when you have defeated Juggernaut for the third time.
- Completing Tasks 23~25: Hopefully by now you will have gotten 3-star mastery on all three missions. If you did, you can attempt to go after the Epic Boss by sending all deploys on mission 3. You will need to finish task 23 before by the time you defeat Juggernaut, so either do it both on the mini-boss fight and the main-boss fight, or in either of the fights. Once that is done, you will have automatically completed task 24 and be right there to take on Mystique.
If you did not get 3-star mastery on all 3 missions yet, you should get them before trying to attempt the Epic Boss. Since you have completed task 22, you will still be able to complete task 23 if you need to repeat mission 1 or mission 3 using the team-up battles with Emma Frost.
Note: Once you kill Mystique once, the challenge is completed. There is no need to win the entire boss battle. You can choose to recharge until you are dead or continue until you win or lose. DO NOT refresh the page once you have completed the battle, or else you have to do the boss battle again, as it will not count.
