Special Operation 13: InfinityEdit

Briefing - From deepest space, Thanos the Mad Titan has returned, and he has brought with him the fiercest warriors in the galaxy: The Black Order. As always, his goal is death, but a darker motive underlies it. Why is Thanos here? And why is he after Black Bolt, King of the Inhumans?

Special Operation 13 Reward Hero: Black BoltEdit

Bio – Even amongst the race of super-powered Inhumans, Blackagar Boltagon's abilities are terrifyingly destructive. Blessed and cursed with a voice that can shatter whole planets, Black Bolt must keep forever mute, lest a single incautious whisper kill everyone around him. As the King of the Inhumans, it is his duty to protect the Inhuman city of Attilan and guide his people through an uncertain future.

Proxima Midnight (chance to drop Sunspike)
Bio - The greatest warrior of the armies of Thanos, Proxima Midnight can kill most beings with one throw of her spear. And she never, ever misses.

  • Combustible
  • Pop-shield (Does additional damage to shielded targets)
  • Melt Armor

Corvus Glaive (chance to drop Cruel Glaive)
Bio - Thanos' most favored lieutenant, Corvus Glaive is cruel, arrogant, and nigh-immortal.

Cruel Glaive

  • Single target, melee, slashing
  • Bleeding
  • Cruelty - Gains a damage boost when attacking a Bleeding target
  • This effect stacks up to 3 times

Dormammu (chance to drop Twisted Gift)
Bio - An exiled member of the Faltine alien race, Dormammu plots to absorb and destroy other worlds from his home in the Dark Dimension. Dr Strange and other powerful sorcerers have kept him at bay--barely.

Twisted Gift

  • AOE, magic, energy, range, always hits
  • Twisted Gift - High chance to cause Soulfire, Deathfrost or Dark Void when attacking enemies;
  • Low chance to cause Soulfire, Deathfrost or Dark Void on the Agent
  • Dark Fortitude - Reduces damage taken from damage over time effects while equipped

Thanos (chance to drop the Solar Storm)
Bio - Born a mutant amongst the already-powerful Eternals, Thanos is one of the most powerful beings in the universe. He is utterly devoted to the worship of Death, and will not be satisfied until all life in the universe is extinguished.

Solar Storm

  • Gadget
  • AOE, subtle, energy
  • Emanating Disruption - Agent is immune to Magnetized
  • Magnetic Disruption - Allies are immune to Magnetized

Additional Story-Only Villains Ebony Maw - Though frail and without powers, Ebony Maw can undo even the greatest of heroes using nothing but his voice. Lies and deceit flow freely from his tongue, making him a master of manipulation.

Black Dwarf - Compared to the others of the Black Order, Black Dwarf seems almost jovial. This demeanor conceals an uncaring nihilism, an acceptance of Thanos' vision of universal death.

Supergiant - Mysterious and unstable, Supergiant is a psychic parasite, feeding on intellect and controlling the minds of her victims.


New Lockbox Hero: ThaneEdit

Bio – This mysterious being appeared during Thanos' invasion of Earth. What he is and where he came from remains to be seen, but one thing is for certain: he holds tremendous power in his hands.

      • Petrifies the target in amber over time
      • Prevents Counter-Attacks, Follow-Ups, and Protects
      • Second application causes Exhausted
      • Third application causes Stun and guaranteed critical hits
      • Stacks to 3 applications
      • Lasts 2 Rounds
    • Target Debuff : Fatal Blow
      • Defeats normal enemies with less than 30% health
      • Greatly damages bosses with less than 30% health
      • Lasts 1 Turn
  • Level 2 : Amber Field
    • One Ally
    • Buff, Energy
    • Target Buff : Preservation
      • Shield effect absorbs incoming damage
      • Removes harmful status effects from the target and prevents new applications
      • Heals target when shield is removed
  • Level 6 : Black Hand
    • One Enemy
    • Quick Action
      • Grants an immediate free turn after using
      • Does not trigger follow-up attacks
    • Subtle
      • Does not trigger most status effects
    • Target Debuff : Nanoplague
      • Deals damage every turn
      • Prevents most beneficial statuses

    • Target Debuff : Despair
      • Removes and prevents resurrection effects while active
      • Prevents most healing while active

Bug FixesEdit

  • Added alternate move icons for Heroic Age Iron Fist
  • Fixed line wrapping for agent name in flight deck staffing UI
  • Coiled Lockboxes no longer show the wrong image when purchasing more lockboxes
  • Added localization for group boss friend invite popup tabs
  • Ally targeted moves were applying to all team members, this has been resolved
  • Overkill bonuses are no longer wrongly applied to summoned villains
  • Fixed a text overlap issue with the Spec Op timer on the Flight Deck
  • The artwork for the epic boss drops: Goblin Glider, Destroyer Power Relic and Mechanical Mjolnir have been updated
  • Fixed an issue with the Spec Op timer getting stuck for some users
  • Mouse over effects have been disabled during distress calls
