“Looks like anti-mutant extremists took Ms. Shapandar, a Calcutta policewoman, and grafted onto her the standard Omega Sentinel tech-set: super strength and resilience, flight, energy projection, super-fast combat computers and the ability to somehow ‘shut down’ the X-gene of any mutants in a certain radius, thus robbing her victims of any chance of defending themselves.
“Ms. Shapandar had a stellar service record and a number of commendations in India before being brainwashed by racist maniacs, apparently for the purpose of proving they loved humanity so much they needed to transform one of our best specimens into a ruthless killing machine.
“I suppose I should be grateful I’m not enough of a fanatic for that reasoning to make any sense to me whatsoever.”
