Power: The alien Kree altered Hunter’s genetic makeup in such a way that he can make himself explode at will - although strength and stamina are necessary, so he can’t do it over and over again without exhausting himself.
He can localize his explosive force to one part of his body - a hand resting on a locked deadbolt, for example - to channel his explosive power in a particular direction.
His destructive power is also his own great weakness; he can’t reconstitute his body if any particle of his original form is missing. This provides agents in the field with lots of opportunities for containment - assuming you don’t get blown up in the initial explosion.
Known History: Hunter was an electrical engineer before being pressed into the service of Kree agents working on Earth. He is most famous for causing the destruction of Stamford, Connecticut, that resulted in the introduction of the Super Hero Registration Act in Congress.
