Nationality: American
Criminal Record: Wanted in innumerable countries as the leader of Advanced Idea Mechanics (AIM ).
Powers: Superhuman intellect; capable of psionic “brain blasts”.
Unique Weapon: MODOK must support his massive cranium on a floating hoverchair which contains a variety of weapons and other useful devices.
Known History: Little is known of this lower level AIM functionary before he volunteered for an experiment to evolve his mind many hundreds of thousands of years into the future as part of an experiment to form an organic super computer codenamed Mental Organism Designed Only for Calculating (MODOC).
Once undergoing the process, however, Tarleton was mutated into a grotesque parody of humanity, essentially a giant brain encased in a loathsome skull, rendering his body largely vestigial. Tarleton’s own appearance drove him insane.
He renamed himself MODOK -- replacing “Calculating” with “Killing”, slew his creators, proclaimed himself Scientist Supreme of AIM, split the group off from its parent organization Hydra , and embarked on his own mad dreams of conquest.
