Unique Weapons: Trick boomerangs that explode upon striking their intended targets.
Known History: Though Australian by birth, Myers was raised in the USA, where he played a lot of baseball. He grew up to be a man who pitched for the majors, until he was caught gambling on his own team and tossed out for good, whereupon he put his remarkable accuracy with thrown objects to use for the criminal underworld.
Observations: “Boomerang’s been a member of a number of criminal outfits - the Sinister Twelve, the Sinister Syndicate - and he’s known to have dealings with Silver Samurai and Kingpin. He’s also had a number of run-ins with Spider-Man and the Hulk, none of which have sapped him of his eagerness to stir up trouble. I see in my notes that he’s even had a little run-in with Director Fury. He’ll have to tell us about that sometime.

My dad always said I should have been a cricket bowler. Maybe if I had all this would have been different. But man, how was I going to be a cricketer in America? And hey, probably nothing would have been different. Anyone ever introduces you to an honest cricketer, you know you’re talking to a liar.
So yeah, I took bribes. I threw at a couple of guys, I tipped a couple of pitches. Got caught, bounced around, got blackballed from the majors. Was a rough few years there, but I’m not the only guy in the world who couldn’t get an invite to spring training. Even went back to Australia for a while, tried to catch up on what kind of kid I’d been. Didn’t work. Nobody discovers himself in Alice Springs.
Never meant to become a killer really, but I’m not sorry. Someone else would have if I hadn’t. And the boomerang thing…I always did like to tinker with those. One of the few things about me that’s still Australian.
What? No. Most of them I built myself. I mean, sure, I’ve had some help. Roxxon’s labs came up with some of materials, so did Justin Hammer.
Yeah, Justin Hammer. No, I won’t say it in court. Figjam, that guy was. Never did trust him.
Yeah, looking at it now I’d say it didn’t all work out. If I’d stuck with baseball none of this would have happened. A bloke can have regrets.
But on the whole, it’s been a hell of a ride. Even if the world’s about to end. I never killed anyone who didn’t know what game he was in. I’m not a murderer. Just like I never threw at anybody’s head.
Hey, shrink. Speaking of the grand old game, what do you think baseball’s going to be like now, with this Iso-8 stuff? You thought steroids were bad, wait till the guys get hold of this.
