Eternal Nocturne

A total of 26 Tasks need to be completed in order to unlock and recruit Blade. Tasks like fights have to be completed separately.

Tasks must be completed in sequence. However, defeating THE specific boss/miniboss and losing the fight DOES NOT complete the task like in previous Spec Ops.

  • Vampires and demons can be found in Mission 1: Opening Gambit

2. Night Flying

• Complete 2 Flight Deck Missions
  • We need to see how far the vampire and demon armies extend. Send heroes on flight deck missions to investigate.
• Requires 5 Gold to Auto-Finish
• Reward: 1000 Silver

3. So Grotesque

• Defeat Grey Gargoyle
  • Grey Gargoyle is a Mini-Boss in Mission 1: Opening Gambit
• Requires 10 Gold to Auto-Finish

  • Morbius is the boss of Mission 1: Opening Gambit

  • Unstable Isotope-8 can be found in normal combat, as well as rewards from deploys and boss fights. You can also get some from your friends!

  • Research the Hallowed Flame Grenade to complete this task.

  • Use 3 Hallowed Flame Grenades during combat

8. Night Shift

  • Deploy heroes to advance through a mission. Spec Op 22 Deploys contain items needed to progress the Blood Work sidequest to unlock Morbius.

  • Complete missions to add points to your cumulative score. Achieve a high enough score to earn a new Mastery Star!

  • Defeat a Mini-Boss of Mission 2: Divide and Conquer. This is a split mission, and defeating Selene, Mystique, Blackheart, or the Demon Pack will complete this task.

14. Greater of Two Evils

• Defeat a Boss in Mission 2
  • Defeat a Boss of Mission 2: Divide and Conquer. This is a split mission, and defeating either Sebastian Shaw or Baron Mordo will complete this task.
• Requires 20 Gold to Auto-Finish

  • Compete in PVP to test your skills against other players. Winning a "practice" fight will advance this task.

  • Retrieve the items request by Dr. Strange. The Darkhold is found by completing the London missions and the Demon Skulls are found the New York missions, in fights involving demons.

23. Sharpen Your Blade

  • Bloodlust is unlocked after hitting a bleeding target with Dead By Dawn and gaining Quickening.

• Task 7: Can be completed outside of Special Ops Missions
• Task 8: Can be completed outside of Special Ops Missions
• Task 12: Can be completed outside of Special Ops Missions
• Task 17: Can be completed outside of Special Ops Missions
• Task 19: Defeating the brainwashed heroes in a three bird attempt but losing the battle still counts for this task
• Task 23: Blade is available on the hero roster with Strike Team: Lamia

  • Morbius is a team up in Missions 2 and 3 with Strike Team: Expurgo and in Mission 4.

• Collect 20 Regenerative Ooze
  • Stockpile Regenerative Ooze until a more stable cure for Morbius can be found. Regenerative Ooze can be found in Deploys in Spec Op 22 and the Store. Deploys requiring specific Heroes or Classes have an increased chance to rewarding Regenerative Ooze.
• Requires 60 Gold to Auto-Finish

4. Midnight Snack

• Use Morbius's "Fly By Night" 3 Times
• Use Morbius's "Mesmerize" 3 Times
• Use Morbius's "I Hunger" 3 Times
  • Use Morbius in combat, trying various abilities. Morbius is a team up in Mission 2 with Strike Team: Expurgo and in Mission 4.
• Requires 40 (15+15+10) Gold to Auto-Finish
• Reward: 2000 Silver

5. Pack Master

• Defeat 10 Vampire and Demon Mini-boss Packs ^(Note)
  • Defeat the mini-boss packs of Vampires and Demons found in Missions 2, 3, and 4.
• Requires 15 Gold to Auto-Finish
• Reward: 200 for the Agent

6. Dietary Restrictions

• Complete the Morbius Sim Challenge in the S.H.I.E.L.D. Simulator
  • If we're going to work with Morbius, we need to make sure he can control his hunger. Complete the Morbius Simulator Challenge.
• Task cannot be Auto-Finished with Gold
• Reward: 1 Command Point

• Task 2 & 4 :Morbius is available in the hero roster with the Strike Team: Expurgo, not in the team up mini-boss or boss battle
• Task 5: Following enemies count for this task: Auspex Lord, Mafioso Ductus, Malefactor Ductus, Sicuspcis Lord and Subcinctus Lord
