A total of 25 Tasks need to be completed in order to unlock and recruit Daimon Hellstrom.

Scarlet Witch, Fantomex and Iron Fist (totaling 240 Command Points) are needed to complete Task 25. If you don't have enough Command Points, you may want to save 25 Gold so you can skip the task.

25. Enemy Of All

The Devil You Know - 25 of 25

Defeat Mephisto ^(Note)
- Mephisto is the Epic Boss in Mission 2: Death's Sting. HINT: Participate in Deploys as soon as they appear.
Requires 25 Gold to Auto-Finish
Reward: 1 Command Point

Hints[]

All Tasks requiring the defeat of enemies must be completed inside the Spec Op. Defeating enemies in story missions will not count towards any task.
Task 2 and Task 13: These tasks that require Deploys can be completed outside of the Spec Op. Completing deploys in story missions will count towards these tasks.
Task 3: Baron Mordo in Chapter 12 - Mission 3 does not count for this Task.
Task 4: This Task cannot be done outside the Spec Ops.
Task 7: This Task can be completed by fighting an ally's Group Boss.
Task 12 and Task 18: All Tasks requiring Hero Abilities to be used can be completed outside the Spec Op if the involved Hero has been recruited.
Task 15 and Task 20: For players that are banned from PVP, the only way to finish Tasks that involve PVP is to skip the task using Gold.
Task 17:
- Demons summoned by Group Boss Blackheart count for this Task but only count when the game is refreshed.
- A very easy way to do this is go to mission 2, battle 1 low battle, since it includes one infiltrator demon, abort the mission and start that again. Do it 5 times (don't do any other battles or deploys) and you should save a lot of isos.
Task 18: This Task can be done outside the Spec Ops. (when you recruited Angel)
Task 21: The tooltip for this Task is not entirely correct. Daimon Hellstrom is also a Team-Up in Mission 2, in the Boss fight against Venom.
Task 22: It is cheaper to just buy the lockboxes than to use 20 gold to skip it
Task 23: This Task must be completed by fighting Blackheart as a boss in Mission 3. It cannot be completed by fighting a Group Boss Blackheart.
Task 25: Mephisto in Chapter 12 - Mission 5 does not count for this Task.

- Soul Jars can be found in combat, particularly in boss battles. They can also be bought in the store once they're researched. The Hammering Nail can be won from Mephisto.
