- Special Operations 6 - Cry Havok was announced on January 25, 2013 on the game's Facebook page. This is the first time Playdom has announced the name of the reward Hero before the Special Operation.
- Spec Ops 6 features the debut of Collections, allowing the recruitment of a second playable character (Magneto).
- Special Ops 6 is much alike Special Ops 3 - Avengers Vs X-Men. Both Spec Ops feature yellow unstable iso-8 and 2 Epic Bosses.
- iOS only:
- Havok does not have the Uncanny Coordination passive, and Plasma Wave does not have Paragon Exploiter or Unleash Energy, but will consume all stacks of Comic Energy to deal extra damage.
- Magneto does not apply magnetized at the start of combat, only when he is about to attack. Graviton Well does not have the Exploits Magnetism attack buff listed.
- With Spec Ops Cry Havok comes the first Group boss on iOS or Android ever, with a new group boss not featured during this Spec Op on Playdom.com or Facebook, exclusive to iOS, the Living Monolith. After completing Pyramidion research, the next task will not be to use Havok's Shattering Punch 3 times, but to spawn and fight the Living Monolith on your map. After completing the battle, you will be rewarded with 10 Magnetic Lockboxes. The rest of the tasks are the same, with defeating avalanche the next task. This group boss is like any other, at the time of spawning, you can invite 10 allies to help you defeat your group boss. It expires after 72 hours, and costs 15 U-iso to battle (free if battling your friend's group boss.
- Group Boss fight details: The Living Monolith is immune to psychic attacks, stun and poison. Text says he's immune to bleeding but doesn't seem to be the case. Not immune to chill or burning. He takes extra damage from electricity attacks and all of his attacks are catastrophic and exploit flying. When the Living Monolith takes his two turns, his first turn will be absorb radiation, which grants a different beneficial status effect to the Living monolith, depending on its class. This status effect can be removed by taking electricity damage. The Living monolith's second turn will be an attack, Eye of horus, applies blinded to a single target, wrath of Ra, AOE attack, or Bolt of set, single target attack, which ends the turn.

- Bruiser gains immense size, increases defense per stack
- Infiltrator gains cosmic counter, counters attacks with any stack
- Scrapper gains immense speed, applies bleeding on attacks per stack
- Tactician gains cosmic cunning, prevents debuffs with any amount of stacks
- Blaster gains immense pain, increases ranged damage per stack
- Sources of electrical damage include:
- Hero Skills: Storm's lightning (as well as her electrified Shroud), Valkyrie's Dragonfang and Thor's summon thunder
- Agent Gear: Thunder Strike, Fistborne Defibrillator, Voltage Crash, Tesla SP-Arc, Capacitive Impeder
