PREPARED BY CHARLES XAVIER[]
Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters Student Record: Beast
Given Name: Henry “Hank” McCoy
Gender: Male
Nation of Origin: USA
Enrolled: First Class
Grade Point Average (GPA): 4.00
Danger Room Median Success Rate (DRMSR): 8.15
Active Mutations: None.
Passive Mutations: Henry’s body combines the strength of a massive simian with the grace and acrobatic ability of a jungle cat. Later experimentation on his own genes caused a further mutation of blue fur and feline countenance.
Hereditary Mutation? No, none of Henry’s family are mutants.
Student Background: Beast’s father, a nuclear scientist, enrolled Henry at my school after his body underwent radical changes in puberty, alienating him from his fellow high schoolers. Once here, Henry excelled in every aspect of the life sciences and became an accomplished member of both my X-Men and the heroic Avengers .
Headmaster Notes: I brim with pride for what Henry has accomplished with his life: multiple doctorates, research and discovery in the field of genetic mutation far outstripping my own, and one of the most beloved and accepted of my X-Men.
If there is a better argument for the existence of the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters than this “Beast” who is a beauty in deed and soul and everything but appearance, I could not have dreamed it any better myself.
Signed,
Charles Xavier
