Our enemies are many. We must be strong in our alliance.

I will contribute what knowledge I can.

Chapter 2 - The Iso Effect: Mission 3 - Step into the ShadowsEdit

High Threat Fight - Mindless OnesEdit

StartEdit

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
Director Fury, we're detecting... wait... that can't be right.

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
What can't be right?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Mindless Ones.

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
Dr. Strange? How did you get... never mind.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
This disturbance was strong enough to break me out of meditation in the Sanctum Sanctorum.

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
Is this related to Iso-8?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Possibly. The only thing we know for certain is that there are more than cosmic forces at play here, Director Fury.

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
Why are there Mindless Ones in Hell's Kitchen, Strange?

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Well, it is Hell's Kitchen.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I am not certain. However, the presence of Mindless Ones means Dormammu must have a hand in this.

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
Understood. Agent, you're about to have your first encounter with extra-dimensional bad guys. S.H.I.E.L.D.'s beat ranges wide.

CompleteEdit

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
That's it for the Mindless Ones.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Far from it, Director Fury. I am quite certain we'll be seeing them again.

Chapter 5 - Gods & Monsters: Mission 4 - DesecrationEdit

Mini-Boss - ExecutionerEdit

RevealEdit

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
Agent, Sif sent the Executioner back to Asgard, but he didn't stay there.

He's rallying the Jotun around the Cathedral, and Dr. Strange is reporting... well, I'll let him tell it.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I sense arcane emanations from within the cathedral.

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
I'm not especially God-fearing, but pagan magic in St. Patrick's doesn't square with S.H.I.E.L.D.'s mission. Get in there.

StartEdit

Sorcerer, you're too late. The ritual is already advanced. Executioner:
Executioner Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
But not complete, else you would already have gone.

I will leave once your body lies cooling at my feet. Executioner:
Executioner Icon

CompleteEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Nick, I have dispatched the Executioner. But we must get into the cathedral itself without delay.

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
What's happening in there?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I will not know until I can get closer. But I sense an enormous power beginning to unfold...

Boss - EnchantressEdit

StartEdit

You interrupt a ritual far beyond your power to complete. Enchantress:
Enchantress Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Very little is beyond my power, Enchantress. As you are about to discover.

By the Deathless Vishanti, I expel you from this place!

RepeatEdit

You dare confront me again? Enchantress:
Enchantress Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
And yet again, and yet again. You will not complete this abomination you have begun.

By the Eye of Agamotto, you will yield!

CompleteEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
The cathedral is purged of the Enchantress and her dark magics.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
She didn't complete it?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
She achieved something. I know not what. But the ritual she spoke of collapsed when the Agent and I entered.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
I'll call that a win. See if you can figure out what she was up to.

Chapter 6 - Uprising: Mission 1 - Underworld MasqueradeEdit

Boss - Madame MasqueEdit

CompleteEdit

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Sue, did she use some kind of... ?

Invisible Woman:
Invisible Woman Icon 1
She did. For just a second, there was a portal. She wrapped it around herself and then she was gone.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
We're not going to sweat it. The mission here was to break up the magic Iso-8 bazaar, and we've done that.

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
Get these artifacts to the Helicarrier. If Madame Masque is using magic, that's a new wrinkle.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
It may be much more than just a wrinkle, Maria. Something powerful is stirring in other dimensions...

Chapter 6 - Uprising: Mission 5 - Magic HandEdit

Mission CompleteEdit

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
Mixed bag here, Agent. Bullseye and Elektra both cuffed and stuffed? That's good. I like it.

But Strange is telling us... well, I'll let you hear it from him.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
The ritual Elektra was attempting did not completely succeed. It also did not completely fail.

It appears that she was trying to open a portal to another dimension. Instead, she set off a wave that will tear open those portals throughout the city, in unpredictable ways.

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
So we can look forward to interdimensional bad guys popping up all over New York.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
That's how it looks.

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
Not the news I was hoping for, Strange. You got anything better?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Trust me, Nick. It would have been far worse had she been allowed to finish what she started today.

Chapter 7 - MIA: Mission 4 - Deceiver and DestroyerEdit

DeployEdit

StartEdit

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Dr. Strange needs to travel to New Orleans to consult with Jericho Drumm. He's in the files as Brother Voodoo.

And he is one of the few people on Earth who knows as much as Strange about the occult.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
He has disturbing news about the material I sent him recently and he will only speak of it face to face.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Whatever you believe about magic, if Dr. Strange thinks he's onto something, he's usually right.

CompleteEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Jericho believes that Dormammu is very close to breaking through into our world.

After what he showed me, I believe it too.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Dormammu? He's supposed to be a demon, right?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
He is a demon. An extraordinarily dangerous one. We must prepare.

Chapter 7 - MIA: Mission 5 - Chaos ReignsEdit

Mission StartEdit

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Jotun weren't bad enough? Now Greenwich Village is under attack from... I don't know what the hell they are.

I'm going to let Dr. Strange give you the details.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
The Hood's ritual worked. Portals to the Dark Dimension are opening near the Sanctum Sanctorum.

The Mindless Ones pour out. They once attacked Dormammu, and he penned them within a part of the Dark Dimension. They exist only to destroy. And if the Mindless Ones are here, Jericho Drumm was right. Dormammu himself will not be far behind.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Nick and Maria are still out there somewhere, too.

Get these portals locked down so we can get back to finding them.

Mini-Boss - NitroEdit

RevealEdit

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Magic isn't Nitro's field, Strange. What's he doing here?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
One imagines that the Hood made him an offer he couldn't refuse.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Our giant one-eyed monsters are apparently being shepherded by Nitro. Sending you his location.

StartEdit

These Mindless Ones are almost as good at blowing stuff up as I am. Nitro:
Nitro Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
By the moons of Munnopor, they know no better. You should!

Oh, I do. I like it. And I'll do it again. Nitro:
Nitro Icon

RepeatEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Any child can delight in an explosion.

Only wisdom controls the fire.

CompleteEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Nitro is imprisoned by the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak. We move on.

I am closing the portals as fast as I can, but I fear I will not be fast enough.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
You and me both, Strange. You and me both.

Mini-Boss - VultureEdit

RevealEdit

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Vulture's in the area too, Agent. We spotted him landing on a rooftop near the Sanctum Sanctorum.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Like Nitro, he is not ordinarily interested in occult powers.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
The Hood must be persuasive.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
It is possible that properties of Iso-8 make it useful in matters both scientific and arcane.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Osborn and Doom both seem to think so.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
If so, it is all the more important that it be controlled only by the most righteous among us.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Never thought of myself as righteous... just right.

StartEdit

Dr. Strange. A visitor approaches. He's very keen to rekindle your acquaintance. Vulture:
Vulture Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Vulture, you meddle in affairs that are beyond you.

When the Hood pays me off, I'll have enough Iso-8 that nothing will ever be beyond me again. Vulture:
Vulture Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
And if Dormammu annihilates this dimension, what will you do with it?

RepeatEdit

Ooh, the magic show's about to start. I can't wait! Vulture:
Vulture Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Who mocks the mystic arts only proves himself the greater fool. Now watch.

CompleteEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I have defeated the Vulture. Convey him to the Raft. I must continue closing the portals.

Boss - DormammuEdit

RevealEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I have not closed the portals quickly enough.

Dormammu is loosed into this world!

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Agent, I know you're still new around here, but if you don't stop Dormammu, none of us will be around to worry about Iso-8.

StartEdit

All your efforts have failed, Strange. Dormammu:
Dormammu Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I have not yet tested the limits of my powers, demon.

You may yet... but it will avail you nothing. Death awaits you at my hands. Dormammu:
Dormammu Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
By the Eye of Agamotto, you shall not prevail!

RepeatEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
You will leave my home, and leave this world.

This world is my home now, Strange. And its people will be my slaves. Dormammu:
Dormammu Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
By the Book of the Vishanti, I deny you!

CompleteEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
The final portal is closed... Dormammu is banished to the Dark Dimension again.

For now. Agent, your aid was decisive. When S.H.I.E.L.D. made their bet on you, they chose more wisely than they knew.

Chapter 8 - Dark Rites: Mission 1 - Dewey Decimation SystemEdit

Mission StartEdit

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Status update. Nick and Maria are still missing. We have every available asset on the hunt.

But we've got other problems too. AIM is in the streets around the main branch of the library. Dr. Strange... well, I'll let him tell you himself.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
More dark portals are opening around the city. There is one inside the library itself, I believe.

The Vishanti only know what might come through it.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
We'll know soon enough when we get some boots on the ground.

Mini-Boss - M.O.D.O.KEdit

RevealEdit

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
My favorite giant cybernetic head. M.O.D.O.K.. AIM must be moving on from tech research to the occult. Never a good sign.

Hulk:
Hulk Icon 1
With me on your side, you're worrying about M.O.D.O.K.?

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
We talked about this, Hulk. You don't go into combat without a S.H.I.E.L.D. team.

Hulk:
Hulk Icon 1
This time.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
I don't know what's got AIM interested in magic now. Any thoughts, Strange?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Most scientists eventually understand that beyond the frontiers of science lies a deeper knowledge.

Hulk:
Hulk Icon 1
Do they, now. I'll be sure to tell M.O.D.O.K..

CompleteEdit

Hulk:
Hulk Icon 1
One thing the Doomsday Chair does now: fly a lot faster.

Never seen M.O.D.O.K get away so fast.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
We're tracking him from the satellite... oh. We were. He just jammed his signature.

Doesn't matter. We'll worry about him later. Right now we need to get at whatever's happening in the library.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Right now might not be soon enough.

Hulk:
Hulk Icon 1
Do it yourself if you're just going to complain.

Mission CompleteEdit

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
So let me get this straight--one second there's a portal, then nothing, and we have AIM working with Sentinels?

Hulk:
Hulk Icon 1
That's what I saw.

While I was recycling those Sentinels, I spotted at least two AIM Agents near the portal. They had some tech with them. Appeared to be extracting data, or something, from the portal itself before it collapsed.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Sentinels makes sense, AIM's tried that before.

But what's going on with this supernatural whack-a-mole we're playing with dark energy, Strange?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
The Vishanti are uneasy. There is a greater purpose behind this. What, I have not yet discovered.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
My bet's on zombies. I love this job.

Chapter 8 - Dark Rites: Mission 5 - RegenerationEdit

Epic Boss - The HoodEdit

RevealEdit

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Whoa, whoa. Before you hit the library, a heads-up from Dr. Strange

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
The Hood is within. He is controlling whatever process the portals are designed to begin.

Chapter 9 - The Syndicate: Premium Mission: Darkness RisingEdit

Mission StartEdit

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
Portals are opening up again. Dr. Strange says they lead from the Dark Dimension.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
The whole area around St. Patrick's Cathedral is lousy with Mindless Ones.

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
Dormammu is pushing hard, and using the sacred energy of the cathedral to fuel the portals.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Agent, I will require your assistance to fight the Mindless Ones while I close the portals.

If we are fortunate, we will cut off Dormammu's way into this world.

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
Hell with fortunate. We just need to be tougher than the other guy.

Mini-Boss - Mindless OnesEdit

RevealEdit

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Some of the Mindless Ones are supercharged.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
A coarse formulation, but accurate. We will destroy them nevertheless.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
I was just about to suggest that.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
May the Vishanti and the Octessence be with us.

StartEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Return whence you came, or face the might of the Eye of Agamotto!

RepeatEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
By Oshtur and the Wand of Watoomb!

LoseEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
These are powerful. We must strike at them again before they grow even stronger.

CompleteEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
The Mindless Ones are destroyed. Yet I fear that we are not closing the portals fast enough.

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
Then close them faster, Strange.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
You are flippant about powers beyond your understanding, Nick.

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
Flippant, hell. I'm talking about what needs to be done. Now do it.

Boss - DormammuEdit

RevealEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Dread Dormammu is in this world. I sense his presence.

We have not closed the portals quickly enough. Now we must meet him face to face. Prepare, Agent. This will be a stern test.

StartEdit

Ah, Strange. You come so willingly to your doom. Dormammu:
Dormammu Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I will fight you with the last atom of my powers, and see you returned to the hell whence you came.

By the Oculus Ourobouros, I dispel you from this world! Dormammu:
Dormammu Icon

RepeatEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
By the Vishanti, you are not victorious yet!

Fool! Your defeat was ordained when you chose me as an enemy. Dormammu:
Dormammu Icon

CompleteEdit

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
You had me worried there for a minute, Strange.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Dormammu grows ever more powerful. Whoever is meddling with the portals has unleashed forces they cannot comprehend.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
And here I thought we should be happy to be rid of Dormammu.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
We should. But we have only won a battle. The outcome of the war is far from certain.

Chapter 12 - Titanomachia: Mission 3 - Under the HoodEdit

Mission StartEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Director Fury. I fear that Doom has begun to reach out to the darker powers.

He is using New York's underworld as intermediaries.

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
Is he trying to add Dormammu to the Syndicate? Even Doom can't be that crazy.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Perhaps he can.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
You've seen the Hood? He's been Dormammu's favorite errand boy lately.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Hammerhead, Jack O' Lantern, and Madame Masque are all active. They do nothing without the Hood's approval.

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
We'll see. After the way HYDRA started to blow up, maybe our criminal masterminds will do the same

Mini-Boss - The HoodEdit

StartEdit

Strange, how do you like the way Iso-8 brews itself into the arcane? The Hood:
The Hood Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I mistrust it. But you never did stop to think twice about anything, Hood.

That is why you are Dormammu's mortal stooge and I am Strange.

It's a world for the brash now, Strange. For people who take risks. You were too timid. That's why you lost. The Hood:
The Hood Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Lost? You presume a bit too much, Hood.

CompleteEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
The Hood has become a victim of his own ambitions. And delusions.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Does that mean you have him in custody?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Yes. He is bound by arcane power that he will not be able to break.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
What do we do with him?

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
Long-term? That's a problem for later. For right now, as long as those bonds hold, get him to the Raft.

Boss - DormammuEdit

StartEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Dormammu, are you here as a provocateur or a partner to Doom?

I answer to no mortal, Strange. Dormammu:
Dormammu Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
You will answer to the powers of the Vishanti, demon.

RepeatEdit

Strange, you meddle in plans beyond the scope of human life. Dormammu:
Dormammu Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
That I do. Such has been my gift.

My gift to you will be endless night and eternal pain. Dormammu:
Dormammu Icon

CompleteEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Dormammu is vanquished... but as before, I do not know for how long.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
For now is good enough for now.

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
Wrap up the rest of the underworld goons. The longer we screw around with distractions, the more time we give Doom.

Chapter 12 - Titanomachia: Mission 5 - Feeding FrenzyEdit

Mini-Boss - Baron ZemoEdit

StartEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
You are a fool, Zemo. Those who barter with Dormammu put their immortal souls in peril.

If my soul is the price for the domination of HYDRA, so be it! Baron Zemo:
Baron Zemo Icon

Mini-Boss - DormammuEdit

StartEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I will cast you out as many times as need be, demon!

Worry not, Strange. In death, you will find rest. Dormammu:
Dormammu Icon

CompleteEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Once again, Dormammu is confined to his own dimension.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
You'd think the guy would take a hint and stay there.

Chapter 1 - Excalibur: Mission 1 - Artificial SweetenerEdit

DeployEdit

StartEdit

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
The aether is humming with mystical communications.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
You mean to be sardonic, Stark, but you are accidentally truthful. I must meet Drumm and find out what he has to say.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
We'll be looking forward to the details when you get back.

CompleteEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Jericho has heard some unsettling things from the spirits with whom he communes. An arcane plot of some sort is brewing in London...

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
We'll worry about it later. Today we take care of Test Subjects.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I will worry about it now, Stark. You would do well to multi-task in this instance.

Chapter 1 - Excalibur: Premium Mission: To Catch a ThiefEdit

Mission StartEdit

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Okay, Team Excalibur is mopping up the last of the Hellfire Club assets in London. We're headed back to New York to deal with A.I.M..

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
They infiltrated a commando force into the Sanctum Sanctorum. Strange, how about you tell the rest.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Eliminating the invaders was a matter of little exertion. More ominous is M.O.D.O.K.'s interest in occult wisdom. He sent his ill-fated invaders to recover specific ancient manuscripts referring to cuneiform tablets I do not possess.

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
A.I.M. forces are also massing around the Museum of Natural History, which does possess those tablets. M.O.D.O.K. must have been researching in London.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I must repair the damage done to the Sanctum Sanctorum, and seal the breach M.O.D.O.K. found in its defenses.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
While he's doing that, we're going to guard the museum and analyze the tablets to find out what A.I.M. is after.

Agent Coulson:
Agent Coulson Dialogue
There's something off-kilter about A.I.M. mustering up this kind of magical muscle. Technocrats shouldn't embrace the occult.

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
This offends you?

Agent Coulson:
Agent Coulson Dialogue
I'm a traditionalist in some ways. A.I.M.'s overstepped its bounds here. They need to know that.

Chapter 2 - Crazy Eights: Mission 1 - AntiquityEdit

DeployEdit

CompleteEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
This appears to bear some relation to occult runic languages known only to ancient Nordic sorcerers.

But I say that judging only from the sounds. There are no identifiable words in any of this.

Heroic BattleEdit

StartEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Dormammu, by Oshtur and all the Vishanti, I forbid you to remain in this world!

I take what worlds I wish, Strange. When I have done away with this one and all of its souls are husks, only then will I move on. Dormammu:
Dormammu Icon

RepeatEdit

Strange, the demonic realms rise as one against you. You cannot hope to prevail. Dormammu:
Dormammu Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I need no hope, demon. What need has a man of hope when he is stronger than his enemies?

Ah, your bravado will taste sweet when I drink it out of your soul. Dormammu:
Dormammu Icon

LoseEdit

I stand victorious, Strange. Dormammu:
Dormammu Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Not... yet.

Would you perish now, or later? Answer carefully. Dormammu:
Dormammu Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I will not perish at your foul hands, demon. By the Eye of Agamotto, I will not! You have destroyed many souls, but you will not have mine!

Not yet, perhaps... not yet. But do you dare to chance it one more time? Dormammu:
Dormammu Icon

CompleteEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Dormammu is banished, but he will return again. The portals between worlds are more easily opened now.

The fabric of the universe strains. We must act before it tears itself to pieces.

Chapter 3 - Crisis of Leadership: Mission 2 - Gates of HellEdit

DeployEdit

StartEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
There has been no sign of Dread Dormammu, but I fear he is biding his time. I must undertake an astral journey.

That is the only way to ascertain whether we must prepare for an onslaught of Mindless Ones as well as these infernal creatures.

CompleteEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
It was necessary to confirm that Dormammu was not involved, nor any of the other forces that move through the Dark Dimension.

Happily, we need no longer worry about that. Our other worries are numerous enough.

Mini-Boss - Baron MordoEdit

RevealEdit

Magik:
Magik Icon 1
Okay, just as I expected. Baron Mordo. Strange, would you like to do the honors?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
No. Baron Mordo and I have a long enough history that I have no need to seize every chance to prove myself against him.

Magik:
Magik Icon 1
The people who tormented me when I was a kid? I wish I could spend all day getting revenge on them. All day, every day.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I trust you will be able to content yourself with avenging me by proxy.

CompleteEdit

Magik:
Magik Icon 1
I couldn't keep hold of him. Strange, dammit, I could have used your help.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
The Vishanti will determine when Mordo receives his justice. Believe me, I am as eager as anyone alive to see it happen.

Luke Cage:
Luke Cage Icon 1
Killer Shrike and Raza Longknife just turned up hanging upside down in a warehouse. Circle of 8 is at it again.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Or still. They're killing... how would you characterize their targets?

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
Not the cream of the villainous crop, that's for sure. Maybe the Circle of 8 can't take on stronger adversaries... at least not yet.

Luke Cage:
Luke Cage Icon 1
Yeah. The minor leaguers. So the next question is why?

Mission CompleteEdit

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Baron Mordo and Doc Ock. Things just keep getting weirder.

Agent Coulson:
Agent Coulson Dialogue
Whenever this kind of magic-tech alliance starts to happen, I want to blame Doom.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I do not believe you can in this case. Doom has much to answer for, but he is...

Professor X:
Professor X Dialogue
Strange. A little discretion.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Very well, Xavier. Victor can make that statement for himself.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Now I'm going to die of curiosity. What are you talking about?

Professor X:
Professor X Dialogue
You will know soon enough.

Chapter 6 - When Opportunity Knocks: Mission 2 - Ancient KnightEdit

DeployEdit

StartEdit

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
Strange, we'd like you to take a look at some of this stuff and see if it connects with any lore you're familiar with.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I shall. All occult traditions flow from very few sources.

CompleteEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
The Egyptian materials are precisely what you would expect. The others... these are quite remarkable.

They seem Norse, but I have never encountered anything like them.

Mini-Boss - Baron MordoEdit

RevealEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Baron Mordo is trying to get something out of the museum. There are powerful magical wards upon it, but they will not stop him for long.

Moon Knight, he is setting demons loose to destroy the collection. He must believe that one of the other items is the source of the protections.

Moon Knight:
Moon Knight Icon 1
That's exactly what he's doing. I can feel the power of the ward diminishing.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Now maybe you and your Khonshu-Fu can help express our disapproval of the situation.

Chapter 6 - When Opportunity Knocks: Mission 3 - Dark ComplicationsEdit

Mission CompleteEdit

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Well, this is a new wrinkle.

The Green Goblin making a play for the Hellfire Club? Makes sense if you're a power-hungry loon.

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
Or he could be retaliating. The Hellfire Club could be after the Green Goblin's Iso-8 formula. He might just be protecting his interests.

Agent Coulson:
Agent Coulson Dialogue
Could be. We need to know more.

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
Yes. We also need to get back to New York. Strange is reporting a demonic assault on the Sanctum Sanctorum.

Agent Coulson:
Agent Coulson Dialogue
There hasn't been a meteor impact in the area. I mean a hammer impact. That's what those are, right?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
No, it is a different enemy we face now. You must defend the portals opening in the Bronx first. I will hold the Sanctum Sanctorum for now.

Chapter 6 - When Opportunity Knocks: Mission 5 - Clash of TitansEdit

Boss - DormammuEdit

RevealEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Dormammu is besieging the very walls of Sanctum Sanctorum. Jericho, your presence is welcome.

Doctor Voodoo:
Doctor Voodoo Icon 1
Sorcerers have to stick together. Now's the time to bind some demons and shut some portals for good.

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
Jericho, the Circle of 8 cultists are calling your name. Seems they think this is a test to see if your fit to be one of the Worthy.

Doctor Voodoo:
Doctor Voodoo Icon 1
It will be a cold day in hell when I allow the mob to tell me whether or not I'm worthy.

CompleteEdit

Doctor Voodoo:
Doctor Voodoo Icon 1
I have forced Dormammu back through the portal in the Sanctum Sanctorum.

Strange, now is the time to close the portal! I cannot do that while I hold Dormammu back!

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
From the book of the Vishanti, I inscribe the sealing sigils on the portal. Begone, Dormammu, and never return.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
If only.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Every battle must be fought in the belief that is the last battle, Stark.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
I'll settle for winning the battle today, Strange. Is he gone? Jericho?

Doctor Voodoo:
Doctor Voodoo Icon 1
He is gone. The portal is shut.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Outstanding. Strange, you can come out of your house now.

Mission CompleteEdit

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
Jericho. Strange. What just happened? What was this all about?

Doctor Voodoo:
Doctor Voodoo Icon 1
This was a power play in the Demonic Realms. Dormammu is trying to control Mephisto, but the natural demons mistrust him because he is not one of them.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
At the same time, they are all striking at the arcane forces allied with S.H.I.E.L.D. This is why they tried to lure Ghost Rider out, and attacked Sanctum Sanctorum.

Doctor Voodoo:
Doctor Voodoo Icon 1
Even what they want the same thing, demons cannot resist fighting each other as well.

Agent Coulson:
Agent Coulson Dialogue
That might be the only thing that's kept us alive this long.

Doctor Voodoo:
Doctor Voodoo Icon 1
No, Agent Coulson. What has kept us alive this long is the one thing demons do not have. Belief.

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
Maybe. But along with belief, I'm going to make sure we have bullets.

Chapter 7 - Crest of the Wave: Premium Mission: Explosive EventsEdit

Mission StartEdit

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
Grim Reaper and the Absorbing Man have struck some kind of deal with the Hand.

Agent Coulson:
Agent Coulson Dialogue
We've observed Hand ninjas cooperating with Maggia elements, but the Kingpin says he doesn't know anything about it.

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
For a change, I believe him. He's no friend of the Hand. But the Hand might know about the sextant Mysterio stole, and be trying to get it for themselves.

Agent Coulson:
Agent Coulson Dialogue
Grim Reaper's leadership is why we're bringing Wonder Man in. He knows his brother better than anyone.

Wonder Man:
Wonder Man Icon 1
I'm not sure that's always true, but I'll help however I can. Why are the Hand here?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Boundaries between dimensions and worlds are weakening. Part of this is from Incursions, but the Serpent's awakening accelerates the process.

The Hand will try to bring the powers of their demon patron to bear. This may be what Grim Reaper is hoping to gain from them. Agent Hill may also be correct about the sextant.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
What does he have to offer them in return?

Agent Coulson:
Agent Coulson Dialogue
A breakaway Maggia faction, right? The Kingpin doesn't seem to be entirely in control.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Does the Kingpin know this? He seems to have the impression that he's the captain of the Maggia ship.

Agent Coulson:
Agent Coulson Dialogue
The Circle of 8 have also sacrificed two more people in the Presidio. Preliminary results suggest they're Zaran and Wildside.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Simon, you go looking for your brother and we'll see what the Hand and the Maggia do. We'll follow up on the Circle of 8.

Wonder Man:
Wonder Man Icon 1
Let's get busy.

Chapter 8 - Trial By Fire: Mission 4 - Mindless MischiefEdit

Mission StartEdit

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
Dr. Strange has gone to London. We're right behind him. There's some kind of demonic outbreak there, which may or may not be related to Hela's army appearing in the Savage Lands.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
I don't think it's related. These are Mindless Ones.

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
But the Circle of 8 is active here as well. Either they're in league with the demons or they're all working in parallel. Either way, it connects back to the Worthy.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Let's let Strange figure that part of it out. When it comes to things demonic, he's the authority.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
How Cooperative of you to admit that.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Strange! Jeez, you know astral projections scare people.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
If you have a better method for existing in two places simultaneously, Stark, I'm listening.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Telephone?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
When you are in London, I will meet you. Dormammu is surely behind this, but the Faltine has yet to show himself.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
First he tries to get the sextant, now he's springing Mindless Ones on London...Where it just so happens Sebastian Shaw is too. Anyone see a connection there?

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
We're here, Strange. Where are you?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I will meet with you soon.

MiniBoss - Mindless OnesEdit

RevealEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
These Mindless Ones are not ordinary. Someone is enhancing their strength...and the sorcery I detect is not all Dormammu's.

Agent Coulson:
Agent Coulson Dialogue
Whose is it?

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
I have a guess. Mordo! Do i get a prize?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
There is no prize for irritating one's colleagues.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
You just fight the Mindless Ones and quit complaining.

StartEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
The Flames of the Faltine burn with uncanny intensity here...

CompleteEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I have imprisoned the Mindless Ones in a pocket dimension Dormammu created himself created.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
You are permitted to savor he irony, Stark. I certainly intend to.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Well, golly, if I have your permission then I'm going to do some serious savoring.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
As long as you know that shadenfreude is one of the surest way to create your own little pocket in Hell.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Dammit, Strang. Is that a joke? I can never tell with you.

Boss - Baron MordoEdit

RevealEdit

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Karl Amadeus Mordo. Dormammu's favorite human stooge puts in another appearance

Agent Coulson:
Agent Coulson Dialogue
He has himself an army of Mindless Ones. Dormammu isn't known for his sharing impulses, is he?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Not at all. If Dormammu has permitted this, he is setting a trap. Mordo has been known ro divide his loyalties, and Dormammu will not tolerate that.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
I'll bet you my favorite car that Dormammu is eliminating rivals so he can take over the Circle of 8. He wants one of the Worthy's hammers.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Which car is your favorite?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I'll let you know if i lose the bet.

StartEdit

Strange, you rally too late. I have remade these Mindless Ones, and even you will not be able to oppose them. Baron Mordo:
Baron Mordo Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Dormammu is generous to you. What do your other allies in the demonic realms think? Will they stand by as you build the Faltine's strangth?

You saw this in the Savage Land, Strange. This world's days may be numbered. Those who can seize its spoils are acting on their opportunity. Baron Mordo:
Baron Mordo Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Perhaps--but are they not also seizing the opportunity to settle old scores? You should watch your back. No demon's promise is ever kept.

How solicitous of you. I had no idea you worries so much about my safety. Baron Mordo:
Baron Mordo Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Mordo, you imperil your soul. Are you fool enough to believe Dormammu has given you this gift while expecting nothing in return?

You need not school me in Dormammu's wiles, Strange. Better you should have a care for your own soul and essence! Baron Mordo:
Baron Mordo Icon

CompleteEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Mordo has withdrawn. He is wounded and his Mindless Ones are difficult to control.

If he does not release them, they will turn on him. And that, I suspect, is Dormammu's intent.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
I don't see the problem.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Mordo is my enemy, Stark, but i would not have his soul fed to Dormammu. Perhaps you have calibrated your ethics differently.

LoseEdit

The dark principalities have found you lacking, Strange. I confess myself disappointed. Baron Mordo:
Baron Mordo Icon

Epic Boss - DormammuEdit

RevealEdit

Mordo, your methods have strengthened the Mindless Ones...perhaps a little too much? Dormammu:
Dormammu Icon

Too much for you, perhaps. The Dark Dimension will cast you out, Dormammu, and I will rule there! Baron Mordo:
Baron Mordo Icon

Did you think I would not anticipate this? Mordo, you have been useful to me. These Mindless Ones have performed well. Now we will test them against their creator. Dormammu:
Dormammu Icon

Destroy Dormammu, my Mindless Ones! You answer only to me. Baron Mordo:
Baron Mordo Icon

They do not heed your command, Mordo. But they will heed mine... Dormammu:
Dormammu Icon

Dormammu, you--back, demons! Away! Nooo--! Baron Mordo:
Baron Mordo Icon

Hahahaha! Now, Mindless Ones...You are mind to command, and Strange will suffer the tortures of his conscience. Dormammu:
Dormammu Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Mordo is gone. The Mindless Ones have destroyed him utterly...

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
You'll pardon me if i don't shed a tear.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
If I had stopped him before he returne to Dormammu, he would still be drawing breath, Stark. No death is to be taken lightly.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
It's not your problem, Strange.

StartEdit

You could not save Baron Mordo. The despair of failure gives your astral form a certain piquance. Dormammu:
Dormammu Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Mordo was fool enough to be duped by your false promises. I regret his death because we were bound by our common humanity--and because I did not do enough to destroy you.

That, at least, is an error I can begin to correct now!

You may strive, Strange, but I will usurp first the other demonic realms, and then--with the instrument you vainly pursue--the powers of the Circle of 8.

The next hammer of the Worthy will be mine to wield!

Dormammu:
Dormammu Icon

Mid BattleEdit

Despair Creeps into your mind again...and this time, not for Baron Mordo but for yourself! Dormammu:
Dormammu Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
By the Vishanti, no!

CompletedEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Dormammu is pent up once more in the Dark Dimension...but this was no victory. His horde of Mindless Ones will grow in strength, and he is rid of Baron Mordo.

Agent Coulson:
Agent Coulson Dialogue
The other demons who needed Baron Mordo aren't going to like this.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
You got that right. They already don't like Dormammu, and this is going to be war.

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
I think we can contain that. What worries me is the idea that Dormammu will ut one of the Worthy's hammers in the hands of a Mindless One.

We need to watch the skies very carefully...while we're keeping a lid on demonic fallout. Mephisto isn't going to stand still while Dormammu gets stronger.

loseEdit

Mission CompleteEdit

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
We've forced the Mindless Ones back...and the sextant is still with the Hood, who had the common sense to avoid getting between Baron Mordo and Dormammu.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
But at a terrible cost. Baron Mordo is dead. Dormammu turned the Mindless Ones on him.

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
You warned him, Strange. It's not your fault.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
My guilt is not yours to determine, Director Hill.

Perhaps he is not dead. I must admit the possibility. But if anything of him remains, why can I not detect that essence in the astral plane?

Doctor Voodoo:
Doctor Voodoo Icon 1
You put too much on yourself, Strange. Mordo wanted to play demons' games, and he suffered a demon's fate.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1

I appreciate the consolation, Jericho. But I could have prevented Mordo's death had i held onto him. In that I failed.

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
Strange, if you think Baron Mordo might have survived astrally, maybe you can search there. But we're still seeing demonic activity in the city, and that's our priority.

Doctor Voodoo:
Doctor Voodoo Icon 1
Go if you must, Strange. I will answer this new threat.

Special Operations - Avengers Vs X-Men: Mission 1 - Utopia (Avengers Side)Edit

DeployEdit

StartEdit

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
I wonder if our way to settle the X-Men down might be through Jean Grey. She's experienced the worst of the Phoenix Force before. Maybe she'll listen. We need someone to reach out to her quietly.

Since we're without telepaths right now, maybe an astral projection is the way to go. Strange? You mind dropping some wisdom via the astral plane?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I will reach out and see if she is open to speaking.

CompleteEdit

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
How'd it go?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
She acknowledged my presence but made no move either conciliatory or hostile.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Ah well. Worth a try.

Special Operations - All Hallows: Mission 1 - Devil's DaughterEdit

DeployEdit

StartEdit

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
Dr. Strange has offered his assistance in tracing the origins of these demons.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
We'd be stupid to turn him down. Much appreciated, Strange.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
The beings of the infernal realms are a specialty of mine.

CompleteEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
The news is not good. All of the demonic districts are contributing to this effort.

And I fear they are reaching out to other entities as well. I heard the name Dormammu.

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
We haven't seen him, or any Mindless Ones.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Not yet. For now, Mephisto and his lieutenants are a likelier threat.

Special Operations - All Hallows: Mission 2 - The Hoary HostsEdit

Mission StartEdit

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
Things are getting demonic in Greenwich Village.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
What else is new?

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
Stark, do me two favors. Avoid the most obvious jokes and get assets into the field to handle these demonic portals.

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
Dr. Strange has been kind enough to map out some of the portals for us so we know where to start.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
This is my place. These are my people. Dormammu's provocations must not be tolerated.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
What makes you think Dormammu's involved?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I do not think it, Stark. I know it. Soon you will too.

Mini-Boss - Mindless One(s)Edit

RevealEdit

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Mindless Ones?

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
Yep. Demons aren't bad enough, we have to have different kinds of demons.

From different planes.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
And let us not forget: with different masters.

So you think Dormammu's around again.

Ghost Rider:
Ghost Rider Icon 1
He is. But as Director Fury was about to say, perhaps we should address the immediate threat first.

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
What he said. Hit the Mindless Ones until they're bodiless too.

StartEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Demons, you have no place in this dimension.

RepeatEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
By the hoary hosts of Hoggoth, prepare to learn what it means to be destroyed!

LoseEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
These Mindless Ones are only a vanguard. More will be coming, and soon.

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
Then you better get your feet back on the ground and take care of these first.

CompleteEdit

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Are we sure that Satana or the Hood don't have control over Mindless Ones?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
The Hood does, or has. But these new demons are from our own infernal dimensions, not Dormammu's.

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
But the Hood has talked about Dormammu.

Ghost Rider:
Ghost Rider Icon 1
Yeah, he has.

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
So who's in charge here?

Ghost Rider:
Ghost Rider Icon 1
That's the thing with demons. They all think they're in charge.

Boss - Baron MordoEdit

RevealEdit

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Strange, you look a little singed around the edges. Where you been?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I thought it would be Dormammu himself. But instead it is Baron Mordo overseeing these infernal legions.

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
The same Baron Mordo who tried to kill Mockingbird?

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
How many Baron Mordos -- or Barons Mordo -- can there be?

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
Let's make it one less. But we're going to have to head through one of those portals to do it.

Ghost Rider:
Ghost Rider Icon 1
Don't worry, Agent. You don't notice the smell after a while.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I claim this battle. You will not survive a trip to these dimensions without my protection.

StartEdit

Welcome to one of the worlds below, Stephen Strange. You know, of course, that you have only come here to die. Baron Mordo:
Baron Mordo Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
The boasting of inferior mystics never ceases to be tiresome.

And have you brought a friend? Ah. Ghost Rider. You know there are still those who would welcome you... down below. Baron Mordo:
Baron Mordo Icon

Ghost Rider:
Ghost Rider Icon 1
I'll take this one, Strange. Mordo needs the kind of attitude adjustment you get from a chain.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
You may watch, John Blaze. But this fight belongs to the Sorcerer Supreme!

Epic Boss - DormammuEdit

RevealEdit

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
There's Dormammu's fiery-headed self.

Ghost Rider:
Ghost Rider Icon 1
Watch it.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Touchy. He's got a fiery head. Can I not refer to it?

Ghost Rider:
Ghost Rider Icon 1
I'm saying that when you point it out in this context, you create a hostile work environment for everyone who might have a flaming head.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
While you draft your lawsuit, perhaps I will confront this demonic peril.

Ghost Rider:
Ghost Rider Icon 1
Be my guest.

StartEdit

Strange, I had hoped to claim a different soul today. But yours will do. Dormammu:

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Mine would be the greater prize, could you win it. Alas, you cannot.

When arrogance becomes fear, Strange, that is one of the finest sauces to drizzle over a human soul. Dormammu:

RepeatEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
You think yourself the bringer of chaos, Dormammu, but in the end you are just another of its servants.

It will destroy you... or would if I had not the power to destroy you first.

CompleteEdit

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
He's back. Dr. Strange, report, please.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
As you can see, the portal is closed. Dormammu remains in the Dark Dimension.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Did you get a chance to chat about his new friend Baron Mordo?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Our conversation was limited, Stark. It was not a social call.

His minions included the demons we previously saw with Baron Mordo. Conclusions are not difficult to draw.

Mission CompleteEdit

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Greenwich Village is officially demon-free... for now.

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
Dr. Strange, have you had any other incursions into the Sanctum Sanctorum?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
It is secure. The rest of the city, I fear, is not.

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
He speaks the truth, people. First the demons ran amok in the library, then they went after Strange... they're hungry.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Hungry enough to eat in Hell's Kitchen? Because a whole lot of portals just opened up there.

Special Operations - All Hallows: Mission 3 - Signed in BloodEdit

Mission StartEdit

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Strange, turns out you didn't do us any favors by dispelling Dormammu's gang.

Know why? Because Mephisto himself has picked up Satana and Baron Mordo.

Ghost Rider:
Ghost Rider Icon 1
You're like a demonic employment agency. Anyone who fights you gets a job with some lesser lord of Hell.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Joke if you must, O man named Johnny Blaze with a flaming skull head.

Ghost Rider:
Ghost Rider Icon 1
You making fun of--?

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Pointing out irony. Not the same as making fun. But Strange, snark is my department. From you, we need a briefing.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
There are demons on the doorstep. Mephisto stirs. The threat of Dormammu lingers. Anything else?

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Well, if you put it like that, yeah. Fix things. Make it all go away.

I know this is Hell's Kitchen, but it's not serving this kind of demonic riffraff.

Research - Infernal FangEdit

StartEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
There is power in the leavings of the dark hordes. We should research these Infernal Fangs to see if they can be used for our cause.

CompleteEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Individually the Fangs can be used as weapons... but I sense the potential for much greater power within them.

If you can collect enough Infernal Fangs, plus a suitable containment vessel, we might forge a weapon of tremendous mystical force.

Research - Infernal Blade to SoulfinderEdit

CompleteEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
By the Hoary Hosts of Hoggoth! The blade quivers with power... and hunger. I sense it asks for much in return for its puissance.

I beg you, Agent, use this weapon carefully. May the Vishanti watch over you!

Special Operations - Infinity: Mission 2 - A Strange TwistEdit

Mission StartEdit

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
In case you were wondering about the quality of the opposition, someone within the Black Order beguiled Dr. Strange into conjuring a bunch of demons.

Agent Coulson:
Agent Coulson Dialogue
That's not easy to do. And it won't be easy to put right.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
While we're still trying to find Thane, we need to clear up this demon problem.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I will of course lend my entire strength to the effort.

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
We also need to keep the Black Order off-balance while we get our bearings and figure out what Thanos is after.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Or, you know, kill them. Either is fine.

Mini-Boss - The HoodEdit

CompleteEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I have trapped and dispelled those demons Black Bolt could not. He is moving. Where is Thane?

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
He hasn't told us. The fewer people who know, the less of a chance the Black Order has of finding out before we can take them out.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
If we can take them out.

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
No. When. There is no if. Get your billionaire-playboy swagger back, Stark. We need it.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Aye aye, sir. Swaggering, sir.

Mini-Boss -Baron MordoEdit

RevealEdit

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Zoiks. Baron Mordo.

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
Black Bolt is going after him, Strange. You concentrate on bottling up the demons.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Very well. And Stark? Not a word out of you, unless you'd care to have your own previous errors rehashed.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
I rehash them all the time myself, Strange. Go ahead if it makes you feel better.

Epic Boss - DormammuEdit

RevealEdit

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
Demons aren't the only other-planar enemies using those portals. Dormammu and a group of Mindless Ones have just appeared in Times Square. Strange, is this...?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I do not know. But however Dread Dormammu has appeared, I will turn him back.

StartEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
You are somewhat lacking in grandeur, Dormammu. Do you only dare attack when our attention is directed elsewhere?

The spider cares little for the buzzing of the fly, Strange.

Take what action you will. I am beyond your power, and Thanos is but the first of many threats from the stars. Humanity is seeing its last days. Some of them sooner than others.

Dormammu:
Dormammu Icon

RepeatEdit

Dr. Strange:

CompleteEdit

Tony Stark:

And Thanos. And the Black Order.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
They are all the same matter, Stark.

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
Listen to the egos clashing. On task, please, gentlemen.

Mission CompleteEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
The demons are eliminated. There will be no further errors of this nature on my part.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Is that an apology, Strange?

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
Can it, Stark. Where's Thane? And where's Thanos?

Agent Coulson:
Agent Coulson Dialogue
Thane, not sure, boss. Thanos seems to be all over the place. He's looking hard.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
We better find Thane and be in a position to help him when His Nihilist Purpletude shows up again.

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
I wouldn't have put it that way, but yeah. We better.

DeployEdit

StartEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
If I can project myself astrally into the Sanctum Sanctorum, Wong will surely be able to discern the nature of this barrier.

Give me a moment.

CompleteEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
By the Vishanti, this barrier is impermeable even to me!

DeployEdit

StartEdit

Valkyrie:
Valkyrie Icon 1
Even Arcade cannot contain the powers of Asgard, surely?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I don't know. He trapped Thor here, did he not?

Valkyrie:
Valkyrie Icon 1
Let us find out.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
It will not work.

CompleteEdit

Valkyrie:
Valkyrie Icon 1
You were correct. It did not work. Arcade is working with very powerful forces here. One wonders if he knows how powerful...

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
And how long he can control them.

DeployEdit

StartEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
We cannot leave anyone behind here. We must sweep all the areas in which we have previously fought.

CompleteEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
And now, perhaps, this dire odyssey will near its conclusion.

Drax:

They're testing us.

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
What they really want is Thane.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Can someone explain to me how a guy like Thanos inspires this kind of loyalty?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Fear. Simply fear. Remember, when Thanos had the Infinity Gauntlet, he was regarded as a god and a servant of death. Even the lowest ranks of his followers are commended for committing mass murder.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
See, now I'm feeling limited by my corporate charter.

Special Operations - Eclipse Phase: Mission 1 - Opening GambitEdit

Mission StartEdit

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
Agent, you might have noticed the eclipse that started yesterday... and didn't go away.

Someone or something has tidally locked the Earth and Moon, keeping us shadowed here in New York.

Agent Coulson:
Agent Coulson Dialogue
In London it's even stranger. The sun's not coming up there.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
This is an enchantment. I know not, as yet, who has done it... but the sudden appearance of vampires is an unsubtle hint.

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
Vampires?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Demons as well.

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
Come on, Strange. You didn't just astrally project yourself here to pass the time. What's going on?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I am here to warn you, Director. The eclipse madness will infect not just the vampires and demons--though they would be hazard enough--but the more mundane criminals of the city as well.

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
We'll stay on top of it. Can you do anything about this enchantment?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I can... as soon as I have discerned its nature. I will begin at once.

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
Very good. People, I would like the vampire and demon population of this area reduced to zero. Move.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Let me know if you run into Kolchak. We'll bring him on board.

Epic Boss - The HoodEdit

RevealEdit

Agent Coulson:
Agent Coulson Dialogue
Now we know what the Grey Gargoyle and Jack O'Lantern were up to: Scouting locations for the Hood to have his own little demon rally.

Grey Gargoyle and the demon that was with Jack O'Lantern just opened a portal and flooded this area with demons.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
The good news is they're fighting the vampires.

The bad news is the Hood just stepped out of the portal with more demons. We need to shut it down, like, yesterday.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I will do it. Parker Robbins does nothing on his own. We must discover which demons he has allied himself with this time... although I suspect Mephisto.

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
That's what Morbius said, that Mephisto and Dracula were in on this together.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
It shall be confirmed shortly--or new information brought to light.

StartEdit

Strange, I figured you'd watch from the comfy confines of the Sanctum Sanctorum. Getting your hands dirty already? The Hood:
The Hood Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
The dirt on my hands, to borrow your phrase, is quite innocuous in comparison to the blood on yours, Robbins.

You have made yourself the instrument of diabolical powers, and you must answer for that. By the Vishanti, you must answer for it!

CompleteEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I have closed the portal, but the Hood escaped through it... to whatever demonic realm he is using as a recruiting ground.

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
Do we know he's working with Mephisto? Or could he have his own plan?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
He channels the powers of the Nisanti. That race of demons is not one of Mephisto's creations... but that does not rule out an alliance of convenience.

Agent Coulson:
Agent Coulson Dialogue
We'll see what Jack O'Lantern knows about it. He's probably been stewing on the Raft long enough to be chatty.

Epic Boss - Dormammu/The HoodEdit

RevealEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Now we face Dormammu and the Hood together. Robbins has sought new allies now that his previous partnership proved insufficient.

We too should add to our ranks. Eric Brooks?

Blade:
Blade Icon 1
I'm along for the ride. Long as there aren't any vampires, I'll get some exercise with demons.

StartEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Dread Dormammu, you scavenge at Mephisto's leftovers? I had thought you possessed of more pride.

Pride enough that your gibes do not shake me, Strange. They tell me only that you are desperate. Dormammu:
Dormammu Icon

Yeah, nobody's got a bigger mouth than a scared little man. The Hood:

Blade:

Desperate? Hardly. You saved us the trouble of hunting you down in the Dark Dimension.

Dr. Strange:

It is as I feared. Dracula and Mephisto have combined their powers to perform this eclipse ritual. Morbius confirms it.

Spider-Man:
Spider-Man Icon 1
We've got him in some kind of Blood-Drinkers Anonymous. As long as we can keep him on the program, he'll help. So at least we've got that going for us.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
A crucial update. Have you more news or may I proceed?

Spider-Man:
Spider-Man Icon 1
Yup. Go ahead.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Good. To the matter at hand: I can end it and restore the normal diurnal course of the sun... but I will need a few things.

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
Such as?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Much of the necessary material I already possess... but there is a certain book in the possession of the Hellfire Club in London. It is known as the Darkhold.

While I prepare the enchantment, someone must bring it to the Sanctum Sanctorum. Also, there are certain... components... that will easily be found here in New York.

Spider-Man:
Spider-Man Icon 1
Rat tailes? Bedbug eggs?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Demon parts. I will give you a list.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Demon parts. By the pricking of my thumbs, et cetera and so on. Okay, Agent, we're splitting up.

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
Hill and Coulson, you're staying here. Stark and I will handle things in London. Let's get Strange his demon parts and get the sun coming up again.

Mini-Boss - BlackheartEdit

RevealEdit

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
Baron Mordo has unleashed Blackheart. While we're collecting demon parts, Blackheart's collecting souls.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Mordo is working a powerful ritual to open a permanent portal from Mephisto's realm to ours.

Agent Coulson:
Agent Coulson Dialogue
Permanent as in we wouldn't be able to close it?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Precisely.

It is only possible as long as the moon is held in place, but if that portal is opened, Mephisto's legions will march through it a hundred at a time.

Agent Coulson:
Agent Coulson Dialogue
That's a pretty vivid picture. Agent, we still need those demon parts, but your number one priority is interrupting Mordo's ritual.

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
I don't think any of us want to live in a world permanently linked to Mephisto's level of hell.

Boss - Baron MordoEdit

RevealEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Baron Mordo is here. Morbius, he would destroy you if you tried to confront him now. I will do it myself, though it cost me precious time in the preparation of the spell to break Mephisto's darkness.

Morbius:
Morbius Icon 1
Lead the way, Strange.

StartEdit

You arrive just in time to witness the merging of two worlds, Strange. Behold! Baron Mordo:
Baron Mordo Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
No, Mordo--I arrive just in time to prevent it! Oshtur's Bane be upon you!

In-FightEdit

Do you see, Strange? The portal's form, glimmering into existence... Baron Mordo:
Baron Mordo Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
It is not complete yet, Mordo--and by the Vishanti, it shall never be!

CompleteEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Yes! The portal draws in on itself, and draws Mordo with it.

Nooooo--!! Baron Mordo:
Baron Mordo Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
He is gone. One wonders what sort of welcome Mephisto will offer.

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
Mephisto needs Mordo, doesn't he?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
He does, yes. But that will not prevent him from inflicting punishment. Those who pledge themselves to Mephisto find that no failure comes without great pain.

Agent Coulson:
Agent Coulson Dialogue
And we thought the boss was hard on us.

Special Operations - Eclipse Phase: Mission 3 - Split the Difference (Expurgo)Edit

Mission StartEdit

Agent Coulson:
Agent Coulson Dialogue
Mephisto has sucker-punched us, Agent.

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
While we were focused on Baron Mordo, he tricked Johnny Storm and the Scarlet Witch into signing contracts for their souls.

Agent Coulson:
Agent Coulson Dialogue
We're not sure how he did it, but both of them have family vulnerabilities.

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
They're both active in the area near Avengers Mansion, leading groups of demons.

Agent Coulson:
Agent Coulson Dialogue
Hold them back from destroying the mansion until we can draw Mephisto out and see how we can break those contracts.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Defeating Mephisto directly is the only way. I will handle that, but first we must force him to show himself.

Mini-Boss - Sicuspcis LordEdit

RevealEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
A demonic force. Perfect. I shall eliminate these myself.

Agent Coulson:
Agent Coulson Dialogue
Shouldn't you be finishing the counterspell to get the moon moving again? And the sun coming up? That would be good.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Do not presume to tell Stephen Strange how to proceed in matters arcane, Agent Coulson.

Agent Coulson:
Agent Coulson Dialogue
Understood. I'm strictly in an advisory role.

StartEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
The Eye of Agamotto holds you in its gaze, demons. None of you shall survive its regard.

RevealEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Now we finish this. Your malformed bodies shall be the material of the spell that defeats your master!

LoseEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
The demonic hosts test me, Agent. My powers are divided.

CompleteEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Mephisto's gambit will backfire. The bodies of these demons will empower the spell I work...

Boss - MephistoEdit

RevealEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I can ill afford this diversion, but I have forced Mephisto to become physically present here.

Now I must strike at him if we have any hope of breaking his hold over the Human Torch and Scarlet Witch. I cannot hold him here for long and simultaneously prepare to employ the Darkhold when it arrives. The time to strike is now.

Agent Coulson:
Agent Coulson Dialogue
Agent, you heard Strange. I'd take his advice.

StartEdit

You know I dislike being summoned, Strange. And surely you are not fool enough to believe you can constrain me now that I am here? Mephisto:
Mephisto Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I care little for what you dislike, demon, and even less for constraining you. It is breaking you I am after, and with the power of the Vishanti I shall!

The Eye of Agamotto will pierce your lies and free those you have deceived!

The battle is joined, and sooner than I had thought. I thank you for that, Strange. It is too long since I took a life. Mephisto:
Mephisto Icon

In-FightEdit

Fight for your friends' souls, Strange. Perhaps you will even win them back. It is of no consequence. There are always others willing to bargain for their fondest desires... Mephisto:
Mephisto Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
And there are always others willing to purify this world of the dark taint of your presence, Mephisto. Begone!

CompleteEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
As Mephisto's life force weakens, he must borrow against the contracts to survive. By overcoming his defenses, I have broken the contracts, and he has withdrawn to plot his next action.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I have lost much time in the preparation of the spell. Where is the Darkhold?

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
We think it's coming back from London, but we don't have an exact time for its arrival.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Mephisto will not wait long. He and Dracula together will build their powers, and I must turn my attention to final preparations.

Agent Coulson:
Agent Coulson Dialogue
Understood. We'll handle it from here.

Mission CompleteEdit

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
Johnny Storm and the Scarlet Witch are free of their debt to Mephisto, thanks to Strange.

Scarlet Witch:
Scarlet Witch Icon 1
I owe you a debt, Stephen.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Careful, Wanda. Thinking you owe a debt what was got you into your predicament to begin with.

Scarlet Witch:
Scarlet Witch Icon 1
Even so. I'm grateful.

Human Torch:
Human Torch Icon 1
Me too. Mephisto... he played me for a sucker. I feel stupid.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
This is Mephisto's specialty. He has had millenia of practice. Now you are free. We move on.

Agent Coulson:
Agent Coulson Dialogue
And now we return the favor by giving him enough time to get his magical ducks in a row.

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
Hold on, Agent. Fury and Stark are on their way back from London. We're heading into the endgame.

Special Operations - Eclipse Phase: Mission 4 - Consolidated PowerEdit

Mission StartEdit

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
Team Lamia is back from London with the Darkhold. Strange, this is your show now. Tell us what you need.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
With the Darkhold and the necessary demonic components in my possession, only one thing remains: I need time to conduct the ritual.

The reason for this alliance between Mephisto and Dracula is clearer to me now. In the creation of a vampire, the soul is unmoored and lost; Dracula and Mephisto together have realized that Mephisto can claim that soul. Thus if their occult hold over the moon is not broken, every vampire created will be infused with the demonic power Mephisto grants upon claiming a soul.

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
You're saying we're looking at an army of demon-vampire hybrids.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Yes. The more powerful demons and vampires we have already seen are early examples of this.

We do not wish to see the finished product, you may be certain of that.

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
Agent, you heard the Doctor. He needs time, and if we don't give it to him, the world is going to be an eternal shadow playground for demon vampires.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
If that's not incentive enough to fight, we all need to be in another line of work.

Boss - Dracula/MephistoEdit

StartEdit

Your inner sanctum is no longer yours alone, Strange. Mephisto:
Mephisto Icon

Soon the Darkhold will no longer be yours, either. And when we have taken it, we will take your life. Dracula:
Dracula Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
The Darkhold's pages contain the end of your story, Dracula. Mephisto's end I will write myself.

Will you? How will you find the time to write when your soul is feeding my legions? Mephisto:
Mephisto Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
It is inscribed already, in the work I have done. Now, by the gaze of the eternal Vishanti, you will be consumed by the darksome chaos that first gave you form!

In-FightEdit

I feel the course of your power in the very veins of this place, Strange... but you have not yet begun to see my true strength.

Feed, Dracula! Once your fangs are stained with Strange's blood, our mastery of this world will be complete!

Mephisto:
Mephisto Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
By the Moons of Munnopor, I am no vampire's repast! Breathe deep the Vapors of Valtorr, and let that breath be your last!

CompleteEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
It is done. Not the combined power of Mephisto and Dracula can overmaster the might of the Vishanti and the Sorcerer Supreme.

But my task is not yet complete. The pages of the Darkhold have yet to be turned, and the ritual completed...

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Get to it, then, willya?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Your banality is invulnerable, Stark.

Agent Coulson:

Strange is completing the ritual...

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
The moon. It's moving! It worked!

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Yes. It worked. It was always going to work, Agent Hill. We have answered a dire challenge, and restored the natural order of day and night.

Nick Fury:
Nick Fury Dialogue
So the sun's going to come up tomorrow.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
It will.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
That's the best news I've heard in weeks. I didn't want to book another session at the tanning salon.

But Morbius, you better get used to hiding out during the day again. At least until we can do something about your condition.

Blade:
Blade Icon 1
I'll do something about his condition.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Come on, there, Sir Stake-a-lot. Morbius chalked up a lot of demon and vampire kills. He's officially a good guy now.

Morbius:
Morbius Icon 1
S.H.I.E.L.D. techs are getting the serum optimized. I'm... I can control my hunger now. Time to get along.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Hey, look at that. I think it's about to be dawn. Man, I've never been so happy to find out I stayed up all night.

Special Operations - Instruments of Darkness: Mission 1 - Which Witch?Edit

Mission StartEdit

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
There are vampires in London again. It's that time of year, but we also have a feeling there's more happening than the calendar month.

Agent Coulson:
Agent Coulson Dialogue
Spitfire and Union Jack have already been in the field hunting vampires. They think they've seen Dracula, but that's unconfirmed--

Spitfire:
Spitfire Icon 1
We know we've seen Dracula.

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
Agent, meet Lady Jacqueline Falsworth Crichton. Better known as Spitfire.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
She's one of England's finest. Survived a mutagenic reaction to a vampire bite, and now she's partnered up with Union Jack to keep Britain safe for stiff upper lips and small beer.

Did I miss anything, Lady Falsworth?

Spitfire:
Spitfire Icon 1
A superb introduction, Tony. You make me feel right at home.

Agent Coulson:
Agent Coulson Dialogue
Dr. Strange! You do know how to make an entrance.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I have dire news. Umar is holding Baron Mordo in the Dark Dimension.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Mordo's alive? Isn't that good news? You were pretty upset when he died.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
I take no joy in any death. Mordo, as he often has, overplayed his hand and suffered for it. Now Umar means to keep him in the dark Dimension forever.

She is here in London, convening a secret gathering with Hela and another whose identity I cannot discern. Certainly a woman, but beyond that...

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Three witches? Saucy. Let me guess. You want to go after her and do something occult and terrifying that will bring Baron Mordo back.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Correct.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
So he can start trying to kill us again?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Mordo's anger at Umar may well outweigh his dislike of me.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
And if it doesn't?

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
That part will take care of itself.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
Good plan. Okay. So you're going to go find Umar. We're going to hunt vampires. Let's catch up for coffee after.

Boss - UmarEdit

RevealEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
It is time. I must face Umar and stop her from making Mordo's imprisonment permanent.

I have drawn her here to London, but the battle may continue through a number of different realms.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
We're here to help, swami. Let us know what we can do.

StartEdit

Once Baron Mordo and I sought to rule the Dark Dimension together. Now, instead of my paramour he will be my slave, and his powers will be mine to use. Umar:
Umar Icon

You have done this, Strange. Had you not let my brother kill Mordo, I would not have had this opportunity. There is a great prize to be had. I owe you thanks. Umar:
Umar Icon

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
You owe me nothing, Umar. And I owe you only a bitter defeat, followed by a return to the dark realm from whence you came!

Oh, no. I have my sights set on a different realm entirely... Umar:
Umar Icon

In-FightEdit

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Now we shall choose a new ground for this battle. The Eye of Agamotto sees the way!

Mission CompleteEdit

Maria Hill:
Maria Hill Dialogue
I have a bad feeling about this. We've gotten into a situation that runs a lot deeper than we currently understand.

Tony Stark:
Tony Stark Dialogue
I will feel a lot worse if Strange doesn't come back pretty soon--oh. Speak of the devil.

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
It is complete. Baron Mordo lives!

Baron Mordo:
Baron Mordo Icon 1
With a vengeance, one might say. Strange couldn't resist putting an end to my torture, just as I predicted..

Dr. Strange:
Dr. Strange Icon 1
Then you knew more than I did.

Baron
