Spec Op 23: InhumansEdit

Maximus the Mad reaches out to the Inhuman Royal Family and S.H.I.E.L.D. with troubling news – Thanos has broken free of his amber prison, and is returning to Earth, seeking revenge. A new army of Test Subjects appears as the first wave of the assault, but something about this attack feels off. How can S.H.I.E.L.D. be sure it's not just a mad scheme?

Spec Op 23 Reward Hero: CrystalEdit

Bio – Always more hospitable to outsiders than her sister Medusa, Crystallia Amaquelin has often acted as a liaison to the world beyond Attilan. Able to bend the elemental forces of water, earth, fire and air, Crystal has been a valuable asset, not only to the Inhuman Royal Family, but also as a member of the Fantastic Four and the Avengers.

New Boss: Maximus the MadEdit

Brother to Black Bolt, Maximus is the definition of a mad scientist. While having spent years subverting his brother's rule, he has also come to his aid many times. One never truly knows what Maximus the Mad truly wants.

Black Bolt RefactorEdit

As the King of the Inhumans, Black Bolt has received a royal upgrade.

New Passive: King of the Inhumans

  • Chance to summon a member of the Royal Family, granting a temporary benefit
    • Summoning Crystal grants Gale Force to all Allies
      • Shield effect absorbs incoming damage
      • Chance to interrupt incoming attacks
      • Applies Winded to attackers
      • Lasts 2 Rounds
    • Summoning Gorgon grants Royal Training to all Allies
      • Grants Rising Up to each ally at the beginning of their first turn every round
      • Inhuman allies become immune to Dizzy, Exposed, Slowed, and Weakened
      • Lasts 2 Rounds
    • Summoning Karnak grants Royal Sense to Black Bolt
      • Chance to preemptively counter when an ally is being attacked.
      • Chance increases if the ally is an Inhuman
      • Lasts 2 Rounds
    • Summoning Medusa grants Inhuman Sovereignty to all Allies
      • Increases all allies' stats
      • Inhuman allies are immune to Opportunist debuffs
      • Lasts 2 Rounds
  • Modified Heroic Buff: Ambient Particles
    • No longer a chance to reduce damage of incoming attacks
  • Modified Moves
    • Action 1: Kingly Fists
      • Removed Off-Balance

New FeatureEdit

Agent level 300+Edit

The cap on experience gains has been removed, allowing Agents at level 300 to continue to earn experience. While the maximum level and stats stay capped for level 300 Agents, filling the experience bar will continue to award 1 Gold and refill Energy, just as if you've leveled up.

ResearchEdit

Research tooltips for the items required to complete a research topic are now displayed on a newly implemented Locked Button, which can be seen on all locked research topics. This solves the problem of extensive tooltips hiding the required items, as the tooltip was too big to be displayed in its entirety.
