Strategy
Abomination appears to be a formidable opponent, especially when combined with Power Armor. It is possible however, even advisable to tackle both together, as the 'Two Birds' bonus (x10multiplier) is then in effect. In character selection, one must note that Power Armor is a Generalist, so it may be disregarded. Abomination is a Bruiser, therefore, Blasters are best suited. Be sure that the Player Character (PC) Agent is equipped with the best Blaster armor available (Nanolaire or better), and fully outfitted with ISO. The second combatant is Hulk. The third should be the best NPC (Non-player Character) Blaster available, probably Iron Man, but for this strategy, the specific blaster is immaterial.
In battle, destroy Power Armor first. Your HP and SP may drop, don't let it worry. When Power Armor is gone, Abomination will probably use "Suspended Animation" to shield himself. This is a HUGE mistake on his part, because it deprives him of the ability to act, but DOES NOT fully shield him. If the PC Agent is equipped with the Energy Fist, Plasma Sword, or Laser Sword (available from the store, 23,640s and 11sh), they have the ability to penetrate Abomination's shield, and if they wear blaster armor, they score critical hits with every attack, so the PC will see to most of the offense. Hulk can use his basic attack, and add to his Hulk Up stack, useful if and when the shield comes down. The third combatant, whoever they are can use Regeneration Pack I to see to the team's hurt, this is why damage caused before Power Armor's death is acceptable.
In summary, proceed as customary, but defeat 'Suspended Animation' as follows: PC attacks with shield-penetrating weapon such as the Laser Sword, Hulk stacks his Hulk Up at low SP cost, and Iron Man heals the party.
