I'm disgusted with the abundance of PvP crashes. There's a bug that, when triggered by cretain characters' actions, crashes the game, causes a loss for the player who started the match, and credits a win to the other team (auto-played). It only started after the final AppStore app update.
The effort here is to have someone from Disney put in the effort to identify the common points in the code once we've identified all the charcters whose code causes this unacceptable problem.
The ones I've seen so far:
1. Juggernaut -- His L12 (Surge) crashes the game just after unstoppable and strengthened register on the screen. This is a quick action.
2. Mockingbird -- Crashes the game after her L9 (Critical Intel) runs and weak point is applied. This is also a quick action.
3. Ares -- Crashes the game just as Ares gets a turn. No peek into what is going on, but based on how the AI logic played before the coding errors got introduced, it's probably trying to run L9, Personal War. Guess what? It's also a quick action.
4. Spiral -- I've only pinpointed the crash for certain when doing the counter attack associated with dancing queen. There have been other crashes caused by an action by Spiral, but no clues as to what was happening to cause it.
5. Angel -- Seemingly when Rapture is trying to be applied -- yet another quick action -- the game crashes.
6. Hercules -- Applying Gift of Battle (a non-attack move, although not a quick action) triggers a game crash
7. Falcon -- No idea what action Falcon takes to make this happen
Please add your other insights and experiences.
The huge caveat is maybe it's dependent on what team I'm running, and/or what items I'm using. Can't tell much from that other than when I tried to run a bleeding-focused team and swapped in Ares, even though I was controlling him, the game still crashed every time (eight consecutive games, some against "clean" teams against whom I've been able to complete PvP matches before). Swapping items has had no effect but with so many items in inventory and so many permutations, and the prevalence of the issue to all, I doubt that's a cause.
Any ideas or experiences of how to get past these roadblock characters would be welcome in this discussion as well.
